  This was our ninth trip to St John and our second stay at Promises Kept. Each year seems to be better than the year before. We travel with a group of friends and it's always a special time. Promises Kept is the fourth villa that we've rented and for us seems to be the perfect place. Not only is it beautiful and very spacious with amazing views but it is a wonderful location as well, a little off the beaten path but still easy to get to town (Cruz Bay). The villa is very well equipped with pretty much anything you would want. We enjoy cooking in the spacious kitchen, watching movies on the large tv in the family room, and soaking in that breathtaking infinity edge pool. Hope to return in 2014!

  The views at Promises Kept Villa are amazing. The home inside and out is very elegant. The outdoor covered space is very roomy for enjoying the magnificent caribbean views. The 4 bedrooms are of equal size with each having it's own off suite bath which makes it very convenient if you have 4 couples. The kitchen is very modern and has everything you could desire. The indoor/outdoor sound system is great for a day of lounging at the infinity pool or a romantic evening at night. This home has all your everyday modern conveniences (TV, Internet, outdoor grill...) Screens are on all the windows and doors so you can enjoy the cool caribbean breeze day or night. We have been traveling to the islands for 10+ years and have found Promises Kept Villa to be our favorite. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

  Promises kept is an extraordinarily beautiful vacation destination. Its spacious and luxurious interior with breathtaking views is magnificent! A great place to gather with family and friends, or to enjoy as a romantic get away.

  This is the perfect place for a family vacation. From the moment we pulled up to the house we fell in love with it. The flowers are beautiful and the scenery and views are breathtaking. When we walked into the house we immediately felt at home. The design of the home and the furniture is beautiful giving us that entire island feeling that we were hoping for. Everything that we needed was right there. All the bedrooms are the size of master bedrooms and set up perfectly. The out door verandas and pool area are perfect for hanging out at home and enjoying the beautiful views of the island while relaxing in the sun. We will defiantly be coming back to Promises Kept Villa in the near future. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with my family!

  What a wonderful place for a relaxing and private honeymoon. The first week and a half of marriage has been a slice of heaven thanks for the memories.

  Promises Kept is spectacular - beatuiful home, accomodations, cleanliness, views, amenities and management. Our family truely enjoyed our stay there and would go back in a heart beat. The home is within easy access of Cruz Bay, north shore beaches, shopping and restaurants - however, we enjoyed hanging out at the house just as much. All 4 bedrooms are large master bedrooms with their own bathroom - great for our family stay - or for up to 4 couples (* lower level south bedroom had excessive moldy smell during our stay which no effort would resolve). Large, high end kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked most meals in (*keep food in refrig to keep sugar ants at bay), A/C in all rooms - worked great. Screens on most doors and windows for days we wanted breezes instead. Pool and extensive terraces were awesome and well used. For those who are not familiar with St John, it is has many steep hillsides and roads, including those to this home. All roads leading to this home are paved. The driveway is very steep and took very careful manipulation - which my talented husband mastered quickly. Property management, Seaview Homes, was highly responsive and helpful. * Be aware that the property owner has cameras on the driveway and pool area that seem to be well monitored by the Owner who calls management if concerns are noted. If there are others - we could not see them. We were initally uncomfortable with this and almost did not rent this property because of this. However, we would like to think - although we do not know for sure - this is simply the Owner's intent to protect their beautiful home and monitor for excessive electric and water use - which are very expensive precious resources on the island.

  Owner response: We at Promises Kept do have security surveillance. As most rental Villas they are not occupied 100% of the time and we monitor the Driveway for any unusual activity. There is no cameras in the interior of the home as anyone trying to get in would pass by one of the surveiiance cameras that are very visible on the outside of the property. We do not monitor excessive water or electric usage as stated above. We took great time and care in designing this property and hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
