Why the Owner Chose Waldport
We came to Bayshore in Waldport first with friends and it was so perfect we wanted a home of our own, rather than be invited! My husband had spent many years on the ocean, sailing alone across the Atlantic (& setting a record for single handed crossing) and later as a Marine Engineer. He enjoyed being at the beach but he said he had seen plenty of ocean and he preferred the bay and waterways with the enjoyment they provided. Our children and grandchildren love the bay beach more than any other spot because they can play safely for hours without the worry of the ocean waves, plus the excitement of marine life available on the bay side. The ocean is only a few minutes walk away when they wish to go there. We love sharing our homes with others, making available a unique spot on the coast and offering luxurious amenities for our guests.
