  We went to Maui with our family of 4. Two adults and a 14 yr old son and a 16 yr old daughter. What an amazing vacation it was. This condo was just perfect. With the 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom the kids were able to get a good nights sleep and there was space for us all to hang out after a fabulous day of snorkeling or whatever we decided to do that day. Miranda was wonderful. She was fast at solving a couple little hiccups but nothing major. It was so conveniently located with a grocery store that you could walk to if you wanted to. The resort itself was beautiful with great pools and a wonderful restaurant Duke's Beach House. The kids loved the chicken fingers!! The parents loved Duke's Lemonade!! Having Lahaina so close by to go to at night for a bite to eat and window shopping was so great. I totally recommend Cool Cat Cafe burger joint right by the Banyan tree - best burger we have had ever! There was lots of great snorkelling places nearby but you could also snorkel right off the beach. There is quite a bit of corral of the beach so be careful - our son cut his foot on the first day as we weren't aware. The mornings sitting on the lanai having our morning beverage was something we looked forward to each night. Definitely will be going back again! Hopefully sooner than later.

  My husband and I normally vacation in cool, boutinque hotels but now that we have 2 kids under 2 years old, that is no longer realistic. This was our second trip to Maui (we were there for over a week in early Dec 2011) and we were a little apprehensive about the resort. It turned out to be perfect for our needs! Great beach front access, amazing pools for the kids (and us - our friends w/o kids came along) and the kitchen in the unit was amazing. The unit was very clean, nicely stocked w/everything we needed in the kitchen, and came w/great beach gear. The high chair for our almost 2 yr old was perfect (clean and easy to use; she loved it). My only complaint (which I informed the property manager about, and sounds like she is going to take care of it) was that the pak n play had a horrible stench so we didn't use it and instead made a make shift bed for my daughter on the floor in the corner of our room w/pillows and blankets, which worked out fine. No ocean view from this room but the mountain rooms were truly beautiful; lots of rainbows! and the windows were plenty and nice. You really couldn't see/feel anyone in nearby units. It was pretty windy (which may be typical for this part of the island) so didn't get to use balcony much. There is a grocery store just past the resort in an older strip mall which has a great wine selection and everything you'd want/need. We also shopped at Stator Bros., but no need to, the other grocery store (non-chain) was just as competitive, although their fresh fruit selection was a little weak. The property manager was great and easy to deal with. We'll definitely stay here again. Oh yeah, the property is really close to some great snorkle areas, but we mostly snorkled right out front.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We loved our stay in this place, great condition, well equipped and good location- did not even matter that we didn't have an oceanview - we were out at the pool and the beach all the time. We will definitely be back !

  We loved this place and had an amazing time here ! The pools were great and the children absolutely loved the SLIDE. Snorkeling was tons of fun with lots of beautiful fish to see. Love the beaches and Maui in general can't wait to return.

  My family of four adults just returned from a week long vacation on Maui at this location.(12/21-12/27) I was a bit apprehensive but the pictures do not lie. The price is very fair as well. The unit is beautiful. Bright lanai which does see the sunshine. All the features of home plus a beach just 2 minutes away. The unit has a few beach mats and plenty of pool/beach towels for usage. The property is well maintained and all the staff are cordial and courteous. At times pool chairs were a bit scarce but the ocean beach was 10 feet away. This was not our first trip to the island and will not be our last. We have our favorite things to do. Hula Grill at Whaler's Village(5 min. car ride); Cruising thru Lahaina(7 min car ride); DIning at Longhi's in Lahaina(a must..it is spendy but worth every dollar..esp at night for sunset). My husband and daughter did an excursion thru Blue Water Rafting out of the Kihei Boat Ramp...they said it was the best they have ever done! thanks to the owner and property manager...great way to spend the holiday-well done.
