For starters, let's just say there's no better place to stay in the Sundance Area than right on a mountain stream. And we mean, that you can literally sit comfortably in the living room and enjoy the view of the stream right outside the large windows.
The other benchmark of this perfect setting is the privacy. Located at the very end of the Big Pine Road this mountain home offers the ultimate in a private retreat. No cars, no noise, (except of course the soundtrack of the mountain stream).
Another notable feature of this property is its close proximity to the Sundance Resort, like a short 7 - 8 minute walk to great restaurants, skiing, the Owl Bar, and a host of other activities avaialble at the resort.
This property is clean, cozy and newly renovated. It has a full kitchen (with new appliances) with a table that comfortably seats six, and a nice 3/4 bath. The main living room includes beautiful new leather sofas, in front of a real wood burning fireplace.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed. Kids will love the loft which features another private sleeping room with a full bed, plus another full bed and two twin beds in the open loft.
A large deck overlooks the stream and has a huge pine tree growing straight up through it! It is equipped with a charcoal grille and a picnic table. In the summer months enjoy an evening sitting around the private fire pit located right next to the stream. This area is also equipped with a second picnic table. Anyone for S'mores?
The cabin is equipped with broadband Wi-Fi DSL service, a flat screen TV and local phone service.
If you’re coming in the winter time, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is an absolute necessity. Parking in the winter is limited to two cars, but there is additional parking very near by.
The Sundance Area is much more than a resort . In contrast to the metro resorts, (i.e. Park City, Sun Valley, Aspen, Vail, etc) the Sundance area is a refreshing getaway from the real world. Year round, there are endless activities to enjoy. Of course, In the winter months the Sundance Resort is the perfect place to enjoy a day of skiing. And just up the road from this property is the Sundance Nordic Center where you can strap on a pair of cross country skis or a pair of snow shoes and enjoy a nice jaunt through the forest.
As for the summer months, there is not a better place to hang out than next to a mountain stream. Enjoy the natural cooling effect of the stream surrounded by some of the largest pine trees in the canyon.

Amazing Getaway

We had a wonderful time for five nights and days at your homey and clean cabin. It was roomier than we thought it would be and very inviting. The living room windows are just amazing. You get up in the morning and think you must be outside already among the pines. The kitchen is well-equipped and the beds comfortable. The stream goes for a long way on the property, and its rushing sound was delightful. We had a blast watching the wild turkeys and squirrels. We live only 20 minutes from this cabin but wanted to feel like we were away without traveling -- and boy did we make the right choice. Clark and Jan are a phone call away and fully accommodating. We walked to Sundance and enjoyed their reasonably priced sandwiches, salads, and smoothies -- plus the New York Times, great art, and an alluring gift shop. The two full-service restaurants have award-winning chefs and we passed on the high prices this time around. We can't wait to "get away" again. -- Sue, family, and friends

My husband and I recently stayed at your cabin and were so pleased! It was so cozy and had everything we needed for our short visit. The views out the window were surreal, we felt as if we were up in a treehouse! We loved sleeping with the windows open so that we could hear the stream outside, it was so soothing and peaceful. The first morning we were awakened by the squirrels chattering and the pinecones dropping on the roof - what a fun experience for us city folks. We look forward to returning soon with our children, they will love the stream right ourside the back door and the privacy all the trees provide. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place!
