Bend house description
E3 Eco-Lux Bend
Epicenter of recreation mecca
Bend is smack dab in the middle of the state, its Central Oregon, and it's beautiful and sunny 300 days of the year. Central Oregon is not to be confused with the rainy, western part of the state. Bend is in close proximity to some of the best golfing, hiking, camping, rock climbing, fishing, and skiing locations in the world, which is why lots of Californians either relocate or have a vacation home in the area. And real estate isn't cheap, either (speaking from a Texas frame of mind). The E3 Lux Bend home is Earth Advantage certified and will save about 54% more in energy consumption than a standard code-built home.
The house boosts 2500 square foot; 3 bedrooms plus large bonus room, 2.5 baths; sun filled and airy dwelling that delights you as you enter the front door. Inspired by the clean lines of Mid-Century Modern architecture, this unique dwelling organically blend metal, wood, glass, and stone to create a community within this bustling neighborhood on the Westside of outdoor recreation mecca Bend, Oregon. This home is perfectly situated for a relaxing vacation or business refuge. Relax on an outside deck or at Harmon & Drake Park… it is all right here within walking or biking distance. The living area are chic and stylishly decorated. Take pleasure in the modern Sparks fireplace or the 42 inch flat screen for your viewing pleasure. The open galley style kitchen lends for an audience for the chef or a gathering spot for conversation, good food, and fantastic wines. Jenn- Air Pro Style stainless steel appliances and a bird’s eye view to the deck off the dining room. Bedroom and bathroom spaces are separated from the bustle downstairs. The isolated master bed and bath provide even more privacy. The spacious master suite is a welcomed retreat. It features a private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper, comforts of home furnishings, soft & inviting 300 count linens, a 32 inch flat screen, and a master bathroom to amuse your senses. The roomy Master bathroom is spa inspired with a modern color palate and sustainable products. The Jacuzzi soaking style tub or huge walk-in shower can wash away your worries. The secondary bedroom houses a queen and a full and the third bedroom has a queen. The house sleeps 8. There are great concerts, art museums, shopping, and incredible restaurants. You could eat in a different restaurant every night, and still not enjoy them all.
Cross the street to shop at gourmet and natural foods markets, shop at the many local shops along Newport and Galvastein, enjoy a local roasted cup at Back Porch Coffee or Nancy's Bakery, indulge in a massage & a day at the salon, or dine at many of the cafes right outside your door step. There’s many restaurants across the street along Newport or along Galvastein to enjoy, a casual 10 minute stroll to Bend’s quaint downtown where you can entertained at the breweries, art galleries, and theaters, take in an open-air concert in nearby Drake Park or a summer concert at the Les Schwab amphitheater. E3 Eco Luxe House
E3 Eco Luxe House
The Eco House is a wonderful place to stay...the listing photos very accurately reflect the house's appearance. The house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. For families, it's a great layout...the master bedroom to the left is private with a sumptuous and special bathroom. The property is clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed the location....it's close to downtown, walking distance to shops and restaurants and, if you are skiing, easy to get to Mt. Bachelor. We dined one evening at the Ariana restaurant. We had a fabulous meal with very good service. If you want a great meal and evening experience, I would definitely recommend Ariana. The owners were very helpful and provided good information about the neighborhood and local jaunts.

Wonderful home and lovely stay
Wonderful home and lovely stay
The home was incredibly well stocked, well furnished and the location was great! It was right across from a very nice grocery store and there were wonderful restaurants, all walking distance from the home. The homeowners have lots of resources in the home that you can use to plan your visit. This was one of the best equipped kitchens in a vacation rental, I have ever been to.The transaction with the owner was very smooth and professional. Highly recommended!

We rented this place in the summer and it was so perfect for our family. It's very spacious and the decor is awesome. The beds are really comfortable and all the amenities were perfect. The location is amazing; there's a grocery store across the street, restaurants across and down the street, Drake park and downtown are a reasonable walking distance and there's a school playground just a block or so away. It doesn't have AC, which is not unusual for Bend, and it was right on the street, but we were never bothered by road noise with windows open. The game room was awesome for the kids and kitchen and grill/deck area were perfect for entertaining our whole (large) family for meals.

Can't get more convenient!
Can't get more convenient!
We rented this home for a family gathering and it was perfect. Because it is so convenient, out out-of-towners didn't require a rental car. Next door is a grocery store and within a block are two cafes, a middle eastern reataurant, a breakfast/lunch diner (with organic food!), a gourmet grocery and produce shop, and a japanese restaurant. It's within walking distance of downtown, Drake Park, three brew pubs and a martini bar. The house itself is stunning. Very modern, very clean. There is a nice, but small deck on the side that allows some privacy while you are in the middle of it all. Nights are quiet as this is a mostly residential area. The bonus room was the garage that has been coverted into a rec room. The teens that were with us hung out in there playing air hockey, out of the way. The house is big enough that 9 adults/teens didn't feel crowded and the convenience let's everyone do their own thing. If you haven't been to Bend, you can spend your days rafting, golfing, biking, hiking and there is an incredibly cute downtown with many cute shops.

Why the Owner Chose Bend:
Within walking distance to one of the most charming and succinct downtown areas in the Pacific Northwest, with tree-lined streets and cobblestone sidewalks, Bend feels both like a Norman Rockwell painting and a chic, cosmopolitan center. Downtown Bend is also a diner’s paradise: grab a quick bite at The Downtowner, which specializes in east coast style sandwiches; make a reservation at The Blacksmith or Jackalope Grill and indulge in award-winning dishes prepared by some of the most renowned chefs in the country. And don’t miss out on the five downtown breweries serving up frothy ambers and crisp, light lagers with names like Cinder Cone Red and Black Butte Porter. At your door step to a wide array of small businesses from beauty salons to sports stores, from clothing boutiques to art galleries offer a unique and sophisticated array of goods to satisfy even the most discerning shoppers. Just east (three blocks) is Drake Park, where a dam that brought electricity to Bend in 1910 still operates and has created the picturesque Mirror Pond, a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists. Harmon Park is four blocks a way. South of the park is the Riverfront Neighborhood characterized by older mill-worker cottages and newer homes closer to the river. More upscale residences are found along the park and closer to downtown with large craftsman and colonial homes, quiet streets and mature ponderosa pines. The Newport District and neighborhood surrounding it offer the perfect place to visit or live for those seeking a place with character and history that is a short walk from urban amenities.
