The home was incredibly well stocked, well furnished and the location was great! It was right across from a very nice grocery store and there were wonderful restaurants, all walking distance from the home. The homeowners have lots of resources in the home that you can use to plan your visit. This was one of the best equipped kitchens in a vacation rental, I have ever been to.The transaction with the owner was very smooth and professional. Highly recommended!

We rented this place in the summer and it was so perfect for our family. It's very spacious and the decor is awesome. The beds are really comfortable and all the amenities were perfect. The location is amazing; there's a grocery store across the street, restaurants across and down the street, Drake park and downtown are a reasonable walking distance and there's a school playground just a block or so away. It doesn't have AC, which is not unusual for Bend, and it was right on the street, but we were never bothered by road noise with windows open. The game room was awesome for the kids and kitchen and grill/deck area were perfect for entertaining our whole (large) family for meals.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We rented this home for a family gathering and it was perfect. Because it is so convenient, out out-of-towners didn't require a rental car. Next door is a grocery store and within a block are two cafes, a middle eastern reataurant, a breakfast/lunch diner (with organic food!), a gourmet grocery and produce shop, and a japanese restaurant. It's within walking distance of downtown, Drake Park, three brew pubs and a martini bar. The house itself is stunning. Very modern, very clean. There is a nice,but small deck on the side that allows some privacy while you are in the middle of it all. Nights are quiet as this is a mostly residential area. The bonus room was the garage that has been coverted into a rec room. The teens that were with us hung out in there playing air hockey, out of the way. The house is big enough that 9 adults/teens didn't feel crowded and the convenience let's everyone do their own thing. If you haven't been to Bend, you can spend your days rafting, golfing, biking, hiking and there is an incredibly cute downtown with many cute shops.
