Why the Owner Chose Boston
I grew tired of boring hotel rooms while traveling, and realized that the funkiest parts of town were often right at the waterfront. I combined my love for houseboating with my desire to offer a fun alternative to hotel stays.
The Unique Benefits at this House Boat
Everything you will need for your stay is provided. All towels, linens, blankets, etc... are all waiting for your arrival. The kitchen comes complete with all the pots and pans, plates and cutlery you will need, while a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, and gas grill make putting together a meal easy and convenient.
Owner's Map of Boston
For about 10 years I lived aboard a restored houseboat in Boston Harbor. I really fell in love with the lifestyle. Having a cup of coffee on the front porch in the morning, grilling up some steaks on the roofdeck in the evening, and being rocked to sleep by the waves at night was a great way to live!

My husband had medical appointments, since we love the water we decided to try this rental. It was a wonderful and relaxing alternative to hotels. We enjoyed sitting in the back watching the ducks and sea gulls. The area is lovely for early morning walks - the sunrise and sunsets over the water are magnificent. Definately a place to consider when looking for city life with relaxing alternatives for lodging. Hope to return in the futue.

Ryan, our stay on your houseboat with the red roof (like this one) was great. We really enjoyed the rooftop deck in the afternoons. Everything was top notch and the boat is well stocked with amenities. We could not have chosen a better place to call home while in Boston. The Adcocks

Thank you for your interest in our houseboat in Boston. Our listing and boat are brand new so we haven't had the chance for guests to comment on them yet. However, we have boat loads (pun fully intended!) of comments from our guests that have stayed with us in Boston. Staying on the houseboat is a truly unique experience, but don't just take my word for it, check out the other comments! Our other listings on VRBO are: #65033, #175876, #199238

My five sisters and I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in Annapolis. The houseboat was located in a very peaceful marina with friendly neighbors and beautiful views of the water and boats. The houseboat was comfortable and well equiped with coffee, water, dishes, pots and pans, and plenty of towels and basic shower supplies (shampoo, nice soaps, etc.) It was a really neat place to stay and walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. of Annapolis. We loved hanging out on the second floor deck to drink a couple of glasses of wine and watch the sun set. We'd definitely return if in the area again.
Owner response:Sorry for any confusion this reveiw may be causing, this boat was in Annapolis for a month (when these guests stayed.) We have since moved it to Boston in an equally nice marina with great neighbors. We hope to have you aboard!
