Welcome to our Little Snow in the Wall in the heart of Keystone's River Run Village. If you are looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Summit County, look no farther. Little Snow in the Wall is located in River Run's Dakota Lodge - the most popular condo in all of River Run (shhh....it has the heated pool and hot tubs. Yes tubs, plural). Whether you're coming in the winter to take on the mountain, in the summer to enjoy the refreshing Colorado Rockies, or anytime in between, we believe you will be more than satisfied staying with us.
River Run is the heart of Keystone and the center point for all of Keystone's festivals, performances, events, shops, restaurants, and kids areas. It is also home to Keystone's main gondola up the mountain - which can be enjoyed in winter or summer, by skiers or families headed up to fine dining. Dakota Lodge takes advantage of this location but also provides you with all the peace and calmness you desire, complete with pool and hot tubs just steps from the back door.
Little Snow in the Wall is....well it's little. As one of only 13 studio units in all of River Run, you will not find a more economical spot. Averaging only 30 sq. feet less than the one bedroom units, it actually has more floor space once the Murphy bed is folded up. Therefore you will find plenty of room for you, you and a friend, or you and your small family. Our family, which includes three children (one is still in a crib) have had no issues with space, despite staying for extended periods during ski season...with all our gear...and the baby gear! The full kitchen allows you to cook and make anything you feel like, thus eliminating the need to always eat out.
Enjoy the easy access to countless bike trails, hiking trails, shops, and Lake Dillon without ever having to share a road with cars and throngs of people. Drive to any of the six nearby ski areas or the Silverthorne Outlets without having to spend the whole day in the car. Watch your kids play miniature golf from the balcony or take a short drive up to the Continental Divide. If your goal is to shop with the girls, have a spa day with your daughter, bike down the mountain, get in some high altitude training runs, relax for a quiet weekend with a book, get away from the kids, enjoy a romantic get-a-way, or sit in the hot tub instead of at the desk...it's simply too simple.

Why the Owner Chose River Run, Dakota Lodge
Keystone provides us with a close, simple, and safe get-a-way. The access to all the trails, without having to go through a town, was a huge plus. In addition, everything we or the kids need is easy to get to without having to cross roads, ride in streets, or pedal up large hills. Keystone is also only about 1:45 minutes from our house and gives us access to six ski areas.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We can bike into Dillon to have a drink. We can take the kids and their friends up and let them play. I can do all the trail running, at altitude, that I want. My wife can be at the Silverthorne Outlets in minutes. We've gone up for weekends alone (aka, no kids). I've gone up to do some quiet work and reading. We've gone up with friends to enjoy football games somewhere other than home. The key has been that it is very easy. If it was a hassle we wouldn't be using it. We can throw some food in a cooler, load up the bikes and head up after our daughter's soccer game and still be home Sunday evening having had lots of "play" time.
