The Landing is located away from the crowds and traffic. We are approximately 3.5 miles from Hwy 59. If you are looking for a relaxing place, this is it. The nearby beaches are less crowded here and an ideal place to 'get away from it all.' The complex is across the street from the beach, only steps away, and situated between the beach and lagoon. You'll have the best of both worlds here.
The swimming pool was built on the lagoon side and is a wonderful place to sit and view the spectacular sunsets, or you can walk to the end of the dock and have a seat in the gazebo and see our resident blue heron.
There's good fishing in the lagoon or you can surf fish right off the beach. Our pier has several boats slips.
Our unit has been recently updated, is nicely decorated and has vaulted ceilings.
Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the pull-out sofa is also a queen size.

I was skeptical about being across the road from the beach, but it was really quiet and there was very little traffic. I loved the way the place was decorated. It was so much homier than staying in a high rise. I would definitely recommend this unit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We were in town for a ball tournamnet, I was skeptical about staying across the street, but had a 9 year old that loves fishing! We thought the unit was very clean and had a homey feel. We have stayed in several of the high rise units in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We found this one to be very convenient and on the quiet end of the street. There was no traffic to contend with, but yet you were close enough to go into town and do anything you'd like. I would suggest this unit to anyone with or without small children. I promise it was no trouble to cross the street to the beach, no more of a walk than one of the long boardwalks at a highrise!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
