Welcome to Monkey Tree Casitas
We are located a few minutes from beautiful Paunch Beach on Isla Colon, the main island of the Bocas del Toro archipelago. Our gorgeous landscaped property is home to many beautiful birds & monkeys, yet only 10 minutes from the town and all of Bocas' restaurants & bars.
Some of Bocas' best surfing spots are here or just simply relax on the beach with stunning views of nearby Isla Carenero & Bastimentos. There is an outstanding swimming & snorkelling spot on the beach directly in front of the property.
Our casitas have been hand-crafted of the finest local woods and are rustic yet luxurious. Each unit has a large custom Queen or Double bed plus an optional Daybed, full bathroom with a spacious shower, comfortable living space, screened windows & high-efficiency ceiling fans and a very cute open porch kitchen.
When you arrive in Bocas, we will be there to greet you, help you to shop for supplies, and then get you settled in your tropical home.
We supply you with a cellular telephone (you may purchase a phone card for any outgoing calls) & a directory of helpful numbers and maid service is provided. WiFi makes this tropical paradise truly connected.
We will help you to arrange any of the wonderful activities that Bocas offers, from snorkeling trips to surfing lessons to the rental of a bicycle or a scooter.
Our homes can be rented daily - minimum 4 night stay - weekly or longer.

From TripAdvisor: It's a must stay! We had the greatest time in the treehouse. It really is in the most beautiful setting with gorgeous landscape. My husband does all the cooking and he made all of our breakfasts and dinners in the outdoor kitchen. It is magical. Ron was so helpful as we booked only two days before we got there. He was so helpful by picking us up, taking us to many stores and showed us town. He also hooked us up with a private boat for a great day snorkeling and seeing other islands. We were lucky enough to meet the owner Heather who has done a fabulous job on the property. It is safe, it is quaint, it is a must if you are in Bocas del Toro. Thanks for having us, we will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 9/9
