Really enjoyed our stay at this house. The pictures don't do it justice. We had a large group, but we never felt like we were walking on top of each other. The pool and hot tub are amazing (spent most of our time there). The landscaping is really one of the greatest traits of this property. It is well worth the cost if you have a large family getting together. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

This custom home was designed and built by the current owner. It has been very well maintained and cared for. The grounds are well landscaped and a wonderful oasis that allowed our (extended) family to take advantage of the wonderful weather in the area. The owner was very responsive to questions and queries and very reasonable to work with.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet, private home. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area was a wonderful way to relax with our family of 6. The home and property were clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the grapefruits on site as well. I would recommend this property and hope to return again.

The landscape & gardens are beautiful & well cared for by gardner. You can see for miles from rooftop which features a hot tub! Neighboring farms provide spectacular views. Grapefruit & macadamia nut trees surround the property. Delicious! Pool is solar heated so pray for sun; we were not able to utilize due to June Gloom weather. Must be able to climb stairs to bedrm's. Beds are okay; upper bathrm very small(no counter space & small shower). However, pool house has nice size bathrm w/walk in shower on first floor & outside steps to upper bedrm. Master bedrm has 2 Bedrm's & 2 bathrm's; 1 w/walkin double shower & 1 has jacuzzi tub! King bed & a sleeper sofa in Master. Kitchen is large w/lots of cookware. Location is 40 miles north of San Diego, but minutes from freeway. Grocery store is 10 minutes. Our family feels this was well worth the cost. Owners are extremely gracious & truly take pride in their property, as they should! Thank you for making our stay wonderful! Absolutely beautiful property!

We just finished a week's vacation at the Bonsall Home. With 4 staying permanently and 2 joining for a couple of nights, we had plenty of room to have some family time or alone time. The backyard is amazing, the views incredible, sunset can be an event. The kitchen is very spacious and all can pitch in for that family meal. We had a hard time leaving the grounds to visit the rest of San Diego area. If you have a big family or several of you want to stay together, you cannot go wrong with this home.

This house was such a nice place to stay!! The roof top hot tub was so beautiful when used at night overlooking the lights of the surrounding areas. The sunrise when viewed from this rooftop getaway was also amazing! The pool/waterfall/hot tub area in the back was just perfect for eating breakfast, talking, and smelling and viewing the beautiful flowers that surrounded it. The property is absolutely GORGEOUS!! My group was so pleased with our stay, no one wanted to go. This was our first rental house experience and we were a little nervous that the pictures would have made a false impression (like so many hotels do), but the pictures truly don't do this house justice!! It is actually more beautiful in person!! Working with the owner was also a very pleasant experience. We had some specific arrangements that we needed and he was very accommodating. We also received our rental deposit back in a timely manner. This was an overall great experience!

Looking for a true home away from home with all of the conveniences you are used to right at your fingertips, but without any of the responsibilities and hassles? Here it is! My family of five stayed here with regularly visiting family from the area staying at various times and we had a wonderful experience. The home is beautiful, pool and outdoor area perfect, fresh citrus fruits for juicing on the property, separate poolhouse for visitors, jacuzzi up on the fourth floor with beautiful sunsets over the mountains and stargazing. You will of course pay a bit more than some other properties, but what you get in return is your own private resort, complete quiet, and a vacation your family will never forget!
