I looked at a lot of rental properties before lucking upon this magnificent gem. I knew it was the one we wanted from the moment I saw it! This place stood out as being special. Making arrangements over internet and phone with Astrid was easy and she was there on our arrival to welcome us and explain the lay of the land. Simply beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and well-outfitted, we were delighted to make this our home for our 8 day visit in the Fall of 2012. From here, we could easily explore all of Paris, by foot, boat, bus or Metro. At the end of each marvelous, full day, we were delighted to return to Rue Kujas. The kitchen table afforded plenty of room to spread out our maps and guide books for planning each day. (By the way, we left those guide books to add to the library for reference.) The well appointed kitchen contained all we could want, though we opted to go out for most meals because we were in PARIS after all! Endless restaurant options were within walking distance. The bathroom was clean and lovely -- nice to have a bath tub in addition to shower. Heated towel rack for warming towels and drying hand wash quickly. Cozy, quiet bedroom with plenty of room to unpack. We appreciated the overseas phone line so we could call home to Seattle a few times. When we return to Paris, which we sure hope to, we will definately try to stay here again. 'Can't imagine anything better! Merci beaucoup!!

What a charming apartment that actually lived up to the pictures posted on the web. It had all of the necessities including washer and dryer and a hair dryer. It was very roomy compared to some we had seen. It was so convenient to everything--walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, St. Sulpice and other sights. Plus there were a metro station and an RER station nearby. Astrid was so welcoming and graciously explained everything in the apartment and how to make it all work. Two added bonuses we enjoyed were the computer with Internet access and a telephone with free long distance. Both came in very handy. Definitely a place we would come back to.

My wife and I stayed in this lovely, well located apartment for 12 nights during our recent visit to Paris. The apartment is exactly as described and the next time we are in this beautiful city we will definitely be staying here again. The property is immaculately clean and has all the creature comforts that we needed and more to make our stay very comfortable. The location is excellent, walking distance to the Pantheon, Notre Dame, Rue Mouffetard and many other great must see sights, restaurants, shops, parks and gardens. Thank you Astrid for making our stay so memorable, we will certainly be recommending the apartment to our friends and family.

This apartment is a gem! My husband and I stayed 6 nights and could not have been happier. From the warm friendly welcome by Astrid, who explained everything we needed to know about the finer workings of the apartment, to the excellent location within walking distace to everything including metro. A quiet, comfortable bedroom and excellent facilities made our second stay in Paris so much more enjoyable than hotel accommodation. Being our very first experience of obtaining accommodation via VRBO (on a friend's recommendation), we were a little unsure at first. But the photos and description matched our expectations and the service exceeded them. This experience ensures we will use VRBO again and again. We only hope this apartment is available next time we visit Paris!! (perhaps then we shouldn't recommend it to friends.....but no, you just want to tell people of such a lovely place!) For a great dinner, we definitely recommend "Le Cosi" restaurant which is just around the corner - excellent food. We wish everyone who is lucky enough to secure accommodation at this apartment, a wonderful visit to Paris.

We, a couple, rented this for a week in March...we had glorious weather so we were mostly out and about. Great kitchen!! For any cooks who are planning to make use of the lovely markets and produce of Paris...this is the place for you! The apartment is in a superb location, comfortable, great bed, nice linens and small touches: a warm blanket for curling up on the sofa, and a pantry of basic needs. Everything was fully functioning and top of the line. The washer-dryer means don't pack extra clothes...it worked unlike most European machines...very quickly. During the day, the students of the University across the street are milling about...so you might hear them and they do smoke on the street. But hey, this is Paris and it was nice having the Sorbonne guards say a friendly " Bonjour" every morning. At night all was quiet and calm. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a safe, clean, elegant and beautiful place to stay. Astrid was great in answering and responding to each and every message and question.

It took watching the end of the Tour de France on TV this morning to remind me that I had yet to submit our review for this fabulous apartment in Paris. In late Jan. 2011, my husband, 24 yr. old daughter and I visited our younger daughter while she was studying in Paris. We had a wonderful 5 days in Paris and this fabulous apartment contributed greatly to our enjoyable stay. The apartment is immaculate and tastefully furnished with high quality furniture and appliances. The location is extremely convenient allowing us to walk to many of our destinations and is convenient to public transportation. We learned quickly that after a long day of sightseeing, rather than going out to dinner, we shopped the local cheese, wine shops and bakeries, and came back to the apartment to enjoy a light dinner in front of the gas fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, including the pull out couch that both daughters shared on several nights. The apartment manager, Astrid, was extremely professional, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this apartment. When we return to Paris we will definitely stay here again.

We rented this apartment for a week while visiting my daughter during her study abroad semester. I can say without a doubt that it's a beautiful place to stay. The apartment is spotless, the bed AND the sofabed were extremely comfortable and the kitchen is top notch. The apartment offers a laptop computer and a cell phone for local use which are very nice amenities. Astrid is a very professional and very helpful property manager.

My wife and I stayed in this apartment during late april of 2010, after a week of driving thru Normandy and Brittany. Astrid was great to work with and most accomodating. The apartment is freshly remodeled and is very comfortable, and convenient to the Metro. The free internet access and free long distance telephone service were a real plus. The access is excellent with a modern elevator to reach the apartment after long days of walking, and particularly for luggage in and out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone. Enjoyed the Brasserie Balzar nearby which is a favorite with locals in the area.

We've resisted writing this description of our stay at 11 rue Cujas; we don't want the secret to get out! Our second trip to Paris was during the first two weeks of October, 2009. Everyone agrees that Paris is magic; it's impossible not to be enthralled by this great city. Our apartment made the stay completely wonderful. Astrid was thoughtful and considerate. It was easy doing business with her; more important, we recognized her genuine wish to make our stay satisfying. We felt completely at home; the amenities made it possible to travel very light; Pat did a whisper-quiet laundry every few evenings. We toured during the day, frequently picked up food and ate at home, watched a DVD. We ceased to be tourists. Paris in this apartment was literally home for two enchanting weeks.

We spent a month in this lovely apartment in October and November. We come to Paris every year and have rented a number of apartments. This one was simply wonderful. First of all the willingness of Astrid, the property manager, to answer all of our many questions made us feel comfortable booking and her personal welcome when we arrived could not have been sweeter. The apartment is well located in the 5th, right next door to the Sorbonne. There are many cafes, restaurants, brasseries, food shops, grocery stores, pastisseries, and other establishments close by. Luxembourg Garden is a two minute walk away and perfect for a picnic. The Luxembourg RER stop is also close by and you can connect to the Metro from there to anywhere else in Paris and surrounding area. The apartment itself is spaious, comfortable, and stylishly furnished. We especially enjoyed the kitchen which was a pleasure to cook in. The bathroom is well appointed and the tub/shower was large enough to soak in after walking around Paris all day! The elevator was a treat and the building was quiet. It is a short walk down to the River Seine and the Notre Dame area. We heartily recommend this apartment and look forward to staying there again soon. But let's just keep it a secret between us! ;)

Bonjour! We are just back from a wonderful 10 days or so in that beautiful Paris apartment. This was our first "VRBO" experience and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as advertised -- only better. The location was delightful, very close to the Sorbonne, the "Jardin de Luxembourg" and easy to maneuver to any other part of the city. We walked a ton, but could hope on the train, which was just a few blocks away, whenever the feet needed a break. The apartment itself Beautiful, very comfortable, fully functional, VERY quiet and a delight to come home to at night. The bathtub was devine for soaking in and the kitchen was modern and fun to cook in. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this to any discerning traveler. I have to say, we were a bit aprehensive about renting an apartment over the internet, but the experience was really wonderful and we have absolutely no regrets. Well, one regret -- we would have liked to stay longer! Enjoy this beautiful place!

My wife and I spent 13 nights here. Astrid was great to work with. The location is great. The apartment is nice. The living area is spacious by European standards. We only wished that the bedroom was a little bigger. There's a very good money exchange with no transaction fees and good rates less than 2 blocks on the left side of the Rue Soufflot as you head toward the Pantheon. There's a good convenience store 8hut (or something like that) also within two block at the corner of Rue de Goff and Rue Royer-Collard, just beware that they close early. There's a bakery across the street from the 8hut. And if you walk around you'll find more bakery's. We had some of the best sushi from an open street restaraunt on St Germain. The RER B is 2-3 blocks. You'll have to change trains to get to most places, but at least the first stop is close. Overall, a very positive experience.

We stayed in this lovely apartment in May. The location is fantastic - one block from the Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens, two blocks to metro. Many cafes and restaurants around. The apartment is beautiful - fully refurbished with wonderful mix of modern and classic Parisian furnishings. The owners made us feel welcome. We look forward to our next visit!
