  The website and photos do not do Casa Kimball justice. It is infinitely more beautiful in person. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. We were made to feel like family. The food was just wonderful and they went above and beyond to make my husband's 40th birthday extra special. I look forward to coming back and cannot recommend Casa Kimball highly enough! I can't say much about what the surrounding area is like - we never left the house; it was too perfect!

  Thank you very much for the experience of a lifetime. I wish everyone was able to experience what we did. This breathtaking place is awesome for taking pictures and along with my other 13 Beautiful Divas we sure have a lot of them. We will surely be here next year to celebrate our annual trip of 5 years. Thanks to the staff of many, the food was impeccable, the pool is to die for. I also wish I could take the tub home. This is truly paradise. So once again, thanks for the hospitality and good times.   The house is spectacular. The location (and pool) are priceless - almost one of a kind. The staff was fabulous. You cannot do better in renting this high end home for a week. The home, staff and location totally justify the cost and you leave thinking nothing of the price because the experience is so special.

  Casa Kimball is an amazing home. We hosted a 5-day wedding which was perfect. The delightful staff makes everyone feel like they are the only guest there and Monica who manages the villa is detail-oriented to make sure each event works exactly as you want. I would very highly recommend it.

  We spent 4 fantastic days at Casa Kimball. The house is even more impressive in person than it looks in photos. The pool is incredible. But what made the trip special was the people working at the house. Food was delicious, the drinks are top notch (bloody mary's are unreal), and the staff seems to take care of everything you need before you know you need it. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer.

  Last week my wife and I were married on the patio overlooking the sea at Casa Kimball and it was pure magic. Our guests, a well heeled and traveled bunch from all over the world, kept exclaiming that they had never been in a place so beautiful or at a wedding so lovely. They are all plotting their own travels to Casa Kimball. The wedding party spent four days in luxury at a price that would be impossible to beat in the states. The staff is exceptionally well trained and accommodating. Monica is a gem and can make magic happen on extremely short notice with a smile.   Beautiful home, spectacular view, awesome pool, absolute privacy. I am running out of adjectives to describe this place! Service is exceptional. They make your bed every night and the water they leave you at night is a nice touch. They also do laundry so you can pack light. Drinks whenever you want. The food was very good. I give it 4/5 stars but I am a tough critic (foodie). A chef prepares three meals a day and a snack. Consider doing a brunch instead of breakfast and lunch as it is a lot of food and you will want to try everything. On my total scale, I give it 4.5 stars out of 5. A 5 would be Casa Kimball with the addition of a brilliant chef. In addition, the manager will also arrange massages or trips like snorkeling and golf. However, there is no need to leave this paradise. Highly recommend.

  A group of us went for a few days and had a blissfully relaxing time. The staff is amazing. We were completely catered to. The architecture and view are spectacular as are the infinity pool and the hot tub overlooking the sea. Very close to great beaches. Massage and Yoga are also available.   This was by far one of my favorite vacation spots. The house is beautifully designed, the location is amazing, the staff was unbelievably attentive. I loved having all of my meals cooked, not having to clean and having any request met almost immediately even if it meant someone running out to the store for us. I would absolutely go back and reccommend it to all of my friends.

  Simply put, pictures do not do this place justice. Sure, it is arguably the most beautiful of surroundings, with the juxtaposition of bold, geometric architecture situated upon a breathtaking seascape, but that alone does not a beautiful vacation make. Alas, it is the staff - the feeling of "welcome," "come as you are," "what can i do to make your day" the seems to infect each member of the staff - from the delightful gourmet chef and his staff, to the servers, to the housekeepers and (especially) the bartenders (with a special "Hats off" to everyone's favorite, Wellington, with a gracious Dominican smile seemed to make everyone's day better.) Monica, the manager of the property, could not be more attentive - she was like our big-sister, looking out for us, checking up on us to see if anything could be done to make our stay more enjoyable. Always with a smile, and a hug. She's amazing! Whether you are aged 15 or 55, this place is perfect. Although, it is a little far from other activities, so it would be recommended to be with people you know are fun, in case you are only at the house day after day (which is SOME PUNISHMENT!!!)...I was there with 15 other fun people, and needless to say, it was a BLAST - we barely left the place! And we partied, to be certain, and apparently we didn't party as hard as other guests (although I take issue with that, because we did some damage to our livers, for certain...it's simply hard to turn down a Cubra Libre at 10:30am! I'm just saying!!!) Guys, girls, gay, straight, everyone is welcome at Casa Kimball. And, circumstances permitting, I will return for years to come... I hope to be able to have as nice of a vacation again. We heard from others on the island (dive shop, barkeepers, etc., that this is the nicest place on the Island. THE NICEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND.   Spencer- I consider myself to be a pretty good writer, but just as photos of your DR house do not begin to capture the majesty of the place, my words will also fall short. My fifteen friends and I have arrived back in our home cities (most of us in SF) and we are still in awe of last week's experience. Most of us have traveled to some of the world's most beautiful locations. We can certainly add Casa Kimball to that list. Thank you, Spencer, for your hospitality. Your house is absolutely spectacular in every single way. You didn't miss a single detail architecturally. And the staff-- whoa! Monica was superb as a general manager and concierge. All other members of the team brought very positive energy to every hour of every day-- with special mention due to Wellington for his ability to offer a combination of both service and easy-going camaraderie. Food and drink were also superb. We never wanted for anything. I could go on and on, Spencer. But as I said, I simply can't capture the joy we experienced or our appreciation for what you and your team offered. As several of us gather for Thanksgiving later this week, Casa Kimball will be high on the list of things for which we are most grateful.

  Had our wedding there nov 5-9. It was magnificent and i think that's the first time i've used that word in at least 6 years. I can't express enough how terrific Monica is. She had every detail buttoned up, made everyone feel respected and appreciated and most of all ensured everyone had the most perfect time. It was incredible. Furthermore, the PLACE redefined luxury for me. I am a designer, stay in boutique hotels in NY and Miami etc etc and was still blown away by how amazing Casa Kimball is. Evrything from the concept and location to the finest details impressed me, it was the place I would build if I had every possiblity open to me, and I felt priveledged and lucky to have experienced it -- BUT at the same time the staff made me feel at ease and comfortable to be there. In a way, they made me feel like I belonged, and that's tough to do in a place so overwhelmingly incredible.

  I have never stayed in a nicer place in my life. The staff is superb and the house is a dream. The pool is clearly the highlight but overall, I do not have a single negative thought to share. Work never crossed my mind. Now that's vacation.
