There is a second TV and DVD player upstairs in the semi-private bedroom area. Free Wi-Fi service is also available.
In warm weather, you can enjoy the view from the full, wrap-around decks on the south, east and west sides of the house. There is a large outdoor gas grill, eating area, fire pit, basketball court and a hot tub that accommodates 6 adults. The 2 acre yard is nicely landscaped with flower gardens.
***Features that set our home apart***
First, our in-town concierge will be available to you and your family to purchase groceries and fulfill other requests at the start of your visit. He will also be available for any problems or questions that you may have while you are staying with us. Having someone close by is always reassuring.
Second, a $20 fee provides access to the pool, tennis courts, and restaurant at the Headwaters Club at Teton Springs Resort. (Weekly and family rates are also available) This is a real treat on those hot mountain afternoons. The paved bike path between Victor and Driggs allows you to ride bikes to the club, swim and play tennis and dine at one of the best restaurants in the valley.
Because the area provides unlimited access to phenomenal outdoor recreation, National Geographic recently identified Driggs as the future location for the Greater Yellowstone Geoturism Center. In winter, skiing reigns. Grand Targhee, has 2500 acres of skiable terrain and receives an average of over 500 annual inches of light, powdery snowfall. In addition to downhill, there are tremendous groomed cross-country skiing trails in nearby Teton Canyon and ungroomed areas all over the valley. Snowmobiling and snowshoeing round out the winter options.
In Spring, Summer and Fall, golf, hiking, biking (both mountain and otherwise), reel and fly-fishing, white water rafting, kayaking and technical climbing are available. The Snake and Teton Rivers provide some of the best trout fishing in the world. The Tetons offer climbing challenges ranging from introductory to expert. Outfitters including Exuum and Orvis have offices in Jackson and multiple valley locations. There are also a number of events -including music festivals, outdoor plays, a hot air balloon festival (July 4th), and movies at the Spud Drive-in, -that make visits at this time of year unforgettable.
Beyond recreation, though Driggs is small, it has several fine restaurants including the newly opened Forage and Warbirds,-an upscale restaurant at the private airport with a private museum of WWII planes. Nearby Victor has several good restaurants as well, including Italian and Thai cuisine. There are small, artisanal cheese and wine shops, a full-service grocery, book stores, boutiques and several great places for homemade muffins, pastries and coffee. We have a complete list of all the places to eat, shop, and visit at the house. We also have a small library of travel books with great hiking trails and other sights to see for your use.
In addition to the activities, because of its elevation, the weather during the summer usually is a comfortable 70-80 degrees during the days and about 50 degrees in the evenings. Autumn offers the best time to see changing foliage and the days maintain temperatures in the 60's, dropping down to the 40's in the evening.

Why the Owner Chose Driggs
Driggs is a small, one-stoplight town about 35 minutes NW of Jackson Hole WY in the west Teton Valley. Bounded by the Tetons on the east, the Big Holes on the west, and the Snake and Wind River Range on the south, Driggs is located in a high (about 6,100 ft above sea level) narrow valley that extends from Victor ID all the way north through Montana. We are located on the eastern edge of the valley in the foothills which gives us a nice westerly view, looking down over the lower plains towards the Big Holes. The Grand and other Teton peaks greet us from the East. Numerous streams flow down from the Tetons funneling into the nearby Teton and Snake Rivers. The 2500 hundred acres of skiable terrain, and 500+ inches of snowfall at Grand Targhee are unbeatable. And, only 40 minutes away, Teton Village in Jackson has more runs and more varied terrain. If we are looking for a change of pace, we sometimes drive over the pass to ski there.
Owner's Map of Driggs
We are a family of five with three children ages 16, 14, and 11. We love to ski and hike and enjoy as much vacation time in Teton Valley as we can get. Privacy, mountain beauty, four season resort area, access to world-class mountain and river-based activities - these are the reasons we bought this house several years ago. Over the years, our investment has truly become our home and a place where the whole family loves spending time together. We chose Driggs because of its small-town, undeveloped feel. Unlike other ski and summer resort areas, including nearby Jackson, there are no traffic jams, curio shops or cowboy bars.
