Welcome to our large (4400 sq ft) modern rustic redwood barn-style home on 65 secluded acres composed of orchards, meadows, seasonal creeks and extensive redwood forests including a one acre pond with a dock and gazebo. You can walk for miles on paths and our private roads without leaving the property. Destination gardens, benches and hammocks are scattered about the property. The pond has a pier for swimming and fishing (bass and blue gill). The property also includes an outdoor hot tub/spa and a large greenhouse. You feel miles from civilization, however shopping, movies, fine dining, wineries, and even the coast are all within a short drive.
The main floor of the house is dominated by two very large rooms; one is the great room with seating areas, dining area and kitchen, and the other is the game room with ping-pong and pool tables and a large seating area. Porches adjoining the first floor offer outdoor dining areas. One bedroom (queen bed) and bath are on this ground level. The second floor contains 3+ bedrooms (king beds in 2 of the bedrooms, one twin in an adjoining room to one of the bedrooms, and 2 twins made-up as a king in one bedroom), two baths, and another living room seating area. The décor is un-pretentious country casual with quality furnishings and amenities.
The fully equipped kitchen includes granite counter tops, a large Viking range and a wood burning soapstone heater/oven. A wide variety of fruit trees grace the property, offering fresh fruit through much of the year.
This property offers space to spread out both inside and outside with lots of places to find peace and quiet. We are currently limiting rentals to smaller groups with a MAXIMUM OF 6 PERSONS. Occupant of nearby granny unit has a friendly dog on the property.

MINIMUM RENTAL - 3 NIGHTS. Weekly rentals - 7th night free.
$500 to secure reservation and held as security deposit.
Payment in full 30 days before stay.
Refunds if cancelled prior to 60 days before stay.
Additional Charges are a $100 cleaning fee and a 9% Sonoma County
Transient Occupancy Tax on total charges.

We love the Sebastopol area. The climate is perfect year round, warm summer days and cool nights courtesy of the ocean breezes. In the winter the property is a cozy place to watch the drama of a winter storm. We can choose to hide from the world, or dive headlong into the great wealth of activities available in the wine country and along the coast.

The property gives us the chance to reconnect with nature through our gardening activities, hiking on the land, spotting wildlife (birds, bobcats and coyotes) and just sitting and enjoying the view.
