We are so close to the beach that you can hear the waves rolling. Spend the day relaxing on the sand and playing in the lake, or a day or two at Cedar Point or it's water park. The lake Erie Islands are a fantastic ferry trip across the lake.

The house was well suited for my family of six. It was well kept and clean. There were games including video games that kept the kids happy. Everything we needed for the beach was there (towels, toys, kayaks, chairs). The beach was walking distance and bikes were available as well. The beach was very nice. The house is about a 10 minute drive from Sandusky, which has everything you could want, including amusement park, Cedar Point. It is almost a hour from Cleveland. We enjoyed an Indians game. We received good customer service. We had a nice stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I (from KC, MO) really enjoyed our stay at this cottage!! No view of the water but it is right down the street from a beach and such a nice little neighborhood! Cindy was very accomodating and her parents were great too! There is even a little neighborhood bar and grill you can walk to! Huron was very easy to navigate and the walk to their lighthouse was a fun adventure! Cedar Point is about a 10-15 minute drive, and a beautiful drive at that! If it wasn't for the 13 hour drive from Kansas City, we would be here ALL the time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
