This house was just as advertised, quite, comfortable and totaly relaxing. We used evrything from the BBQ grill to the hot tub and could not have been more pleased. Aaron was great to work with and very responsive. I am sure wqe will be back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

My husband, our 2 year girl, my Mom and I spent a wonderful weekend at Shepherd's Rest! The house is very charming and clean, beds are comfortable. I just want to highlight the fact that it is perfect for kids — huge flat fenced yard, 3 different kind of swings and a sand box. Plus 5 min walk to the river. We enjoyed our time together and will be back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children.

I'm always cautious staying in a place I've never been before but when I walked into Shepard's Rest, I was very pleasantly surprised. The house is cute and very clean. While the photos on this website are nice, it honestly doesn't do the place justice. My gf and I (we are both Mom's) wanted to get away for a couple nights without the kids and husbands and this was even better than we could have imagined. We enjoyed our stay so much that the very next week we got back home, we were already planning our next stay. This time, we think we'll bring the husbands and kids. ;o) Stay here to get away from it all!
