Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff
Flagstaff is a rarity. It is a mountain city in a desert state, which makes it so unique. I grew up in St. Louis and felt at home in Flagstaff with the four season's weather. We know it's a good investment to own a vacation home in a city that offers tourism attractions during more than one season. With winter activities during snow months and an escape from the heat and Grand Canyon activities in the summer, Flagstaff is a great place to own a vacation/second home.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhouse
My favorite thing to do is sit on our back deck and smell the scent of the Ponderosa pine trees while sipping a glass of Pinot Noir. To hear the wind rustle through the pine needles is a sound unlike any other. I can't explain how amazingly serene and relaxing Carbella Chalet is to me and my family. It is just meant for that one purpose....relaxation. During the winter, I enjoy cozying up by the fireplace and just looking out the window at the snow falling. Just across the golf course is a perfect little hill where our son loves to sled.

Owner's Map of Flagstaff
My husband and I met in 1992 at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was always our dream to either move back to Flagstaff one day or own a second home there. We found a perfect opportunity to buy a gorgeous property on the Aspen Valley Golf Course in Flagstaff. We are avid snowboarders, mountain bikers and hikers, so Flagstaff is the perfect get-away for us. Now that we have two children, we would like them to experience the close-knit, small-town feel of Flagstaff and participate in the many outdoor adventure activities this amazing city has to offer.

5/5 Exactly as described! Jennifer Chandler, AZ Review Submitted: May 26, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009 This was a wonderful place to stay! It had three parking spots, three beautiful bedrooms and three private baths off of each bedroom. It was spotlessly clean with added amenities and treats on the kitchen counter waiting for us. The owner had put together a book with everything you might want to do in Flagstaff, and her favorite restaurants. She even included menus from the restaurants! The communication with the owner prior to our trip was fantastic. She made sure to give me her cell phone number so if we had any questions after we arrived we could call her (which we did). Our kids loved the bedroom with the bunkbeds - but even if you don't have a use for bunkbeds there was a twin bed in that room as well. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with dishes, glasses, tupperware, etc. The back porch had beautiful mountain views (as did the window from the living area). We even saw three deer on the golf course one day. It was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go - close to the freeway and downtown. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Flagstaff!
