Step off the lawn to the white sand beach or into the gentle blue waters for a swim. Pick up snorkel gear at the Beach Hut to spy on the tropical fish. The Beach Hut, located adjacent to the Oceanside lawn, also carries cold beverages, sunscreen, light snacks and other rental equipment. The staff at the Beach Hut can book day cruises, snorkel adventures and many other island activities.

We have rented this unit several times over the past 20 years. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the unit was remodeled this last spring. The bathroom and kitchen were updated with slate tile, granite countertops, new fixtures and appliances. We have two teenage boys and this has been our family's favorite getaway since they were born. The unit has a great view of the ocean and faces onto a broad lawn area that borders the beach. We enjoy throwing frisbees, playing bocce, and relaxing on the lawn. At this resort you have the option of using beach chairs and towels (provided onsite) on the beach or on the lawn next to the beach. If you are using electronics or just don't want to get sandy after swimming, the lawn are provides a unique place to lay out a towel or find some palm tree shade if you desire. The pool for the resort is a relatively long walk away but worth the trip as it is nicely landscaped including a slide and waterfall. Don't miss the Puka Dogs (hotdogs prepared with tropical fruit relishes and garlic dressing) at the shopping center across the street from the resort! Our kids love them and it is practically the first thing they want when they arrive...Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Jill, I must apologize for not sending this earlier but we rented your wonderful # 17 from Jan 9-18, 2012....I wanted to thank you for all your help in securing this fabulous unit. The location was wonderful, the furnishings were comfortable and all in all it was a very memorable vacation for both Christine and I. Hi Jill, Just want to let you know that we soooooo enjoyed our stay at your Kihuana unit. Everything was wonderful, and needless to say, the view was awesome!
