You're an easy 10-minute walk away from the Hermosa Beach Strand and its expansive, white-sand beach. Stop there and enjoy a sunny day on the sand or see one of the many festivals or volleyball events at Hermosa Beach Pier. After a day of frolicking in the surf, come home and relax on the deck with a BBQ, enjoying the cool breeze off the Pacific Ocean, or walk across the street and pick from one of several restaurants.
Not in the mood for a day at the beach? No problem because LA has something for everybody. Love to shop? Downtown Manhattan Beach (home to many actors, Lakers, and Dodgers) is minutes up the coast. Downtown Manhattan has many upscale shops including a Skechers shoe store, a True Religion store with racks of jeans and accessories, a wonderful selection of restaurants, and much more. The Nokia Theatre (home to American Idol) and the Staples Center, home to the Lakers, Clippers, Kings and many premium concerts, are located in downtown LA. Anaheim Stadium is about 45 minutes away and situated close to Disneyland in beautiful Orange County. For horse racing lovers, Santa Anita is a 45 minute drive and Hollywood Park/Casino is a short 20 minute drive away.
