Ride the ferry across the San Diego Bay to enjoy the nightlife of the Gaslamp Quarter, take in a Padres baseball game at Petco Park, or read a book relaxing on one of America's finest beaches just steps away from your door.
The unit has a King bed in the master Br., 2 twin beds in 2nd Br. and a sleeper sofa in the living room, for a total of 6 people maximum, all in beds.
The new Coronado Community Center and Glorietta Bay are just across the street from your Coronado Shores Condominium. Here you can rent a jet ski, sailboat, runabout, paddleboat or fishing skiff. The community center provides an Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, climbing wall, gym and indoor basketball court. The San Diego Bikeway is also just across the street where you can walk, run, skate or ride your bike for miles along the Silver Strand.
The Coronado Shores location puts the charming village of Coronado at your doorstep where everything is close enough that you can walk or ride the shuttle to dining, parks, shopping, quaint coffee shops and the beautiful Coronado Public Library across the street from the bandstand in Spreckle's Park where every Sunday evening throughout the summer the city hosts a concert for all to enjoy.
Coronado Golf Course can be seen across Glorietta Bay and is a wonderful, and very moderately priced 18 hole municipal course with dining and a complete pro shop, driving range and putting green.
Just a few miles south on the Silver Strand State Beach is a dedicated kite surfing beach that enjoys good winds all summer long, and there is instruction available in the village at CaliKites.
During the summer months San Diego has some of the best open water fishing available anywhere in the contigious U.S. You can choose from 1/2 day local trips for bass and inshore species up to multiple day trips for exotics such as tuna, wahoo, dorado and California Yellowtail.
If you can't enjoy life here, you aren't trying.

Why the Owner Chose Coronado
We initially bought in the 'Shores for our residence, but loved living here so much that we decided to keep our unit even after we had to move to Orange County when we were based in Los Angeles.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Coronado is such a wonderful and unique community, that even the everyday activities of shopping and picking up the dry cleaning is enjoyable. you can walk or ride a bicycle anywhere in town and it is a pleasure to just be outside in our fantastic climate. On any given day in this village you can choose from so many things to do it is truly amazing. We love the proximity to the beach and bay and all that they offer.
Owner's Map of Coronado
We are Bill and Dorothy Lunt. We bought our unit in Coronado Shores in 1968 and were full time residents for several years while Bill flew for American Airlines when he was based at their San Diego Domicile. We later moved North to Orange County when Bill was based in Los Angeles. Bill was an Army Aircorps B-24 Liberator pilot in WWII and Dorothy an Army Aircorps nurse. We met when Bill returned stateside from flying more than 50 missions out of Italy in the Air Offensive of Europe in 1944.
