Cabo is as tourist-friendly as they come; just about everyone speaks English, and most businesses will accept US currency. We've never had a need to make a currency exchange.

Our family of five vacationed at Hacienda del Mar for the first time in 2005, and immediately fell in love with the place. It was the ideal family vacation spot - the range of activities enough to interest our 7 year old son as well as our teenage daughters. My wife and I even managed a romantic date at the exquisite Pitahayas restaurant. We've been back many times, and ultimately purchased 2 units - including the "fixed" week during Christmas, which is the most popular and festive week at the facility. Our family is not able to travel to Mexico this holiday season, and our loss is your gain. This is a great, affordable opportunity to spend the Christmas Holiday at one of the nicest, family-friendliest resorts in Cabo. The Unique Benefits of this Luxury Resort
Our son has food allergies, so we appreciate the full kitchen, and the close proximity to gigantic grocery stores like the Mega and Costco. I'm not normally a swimmer, but they keep the water temperature in all the pools at such a comfortable level, that I can't help but to spend hour after hour, day after day, pruning away in the pools at Hacienda del Mar. We love the privacy of the resort, while still being minutes away from all the action in downtown Cabo... and the airport at SJD.
