Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2000

I am a New Yorker, born and bred. I love this city more than anyplace in the world, and this neighborhood in particular. I am greeted every evening by red cardinals who are later followed by blue jays. The diversity of the birds in the neighborhood is always astonishing to me. The night life in the area is great. There is a great Afro-Euro live music club within a three block walk of the apartment with great food.

Why the Owner Chose Harlem (Central)

I love this neighborhood. It is historical, architecturally beautiful and convenient to downtown Manhattan with all of its cultural riches.

The Unique Benefits of this Apartment

I love being within walking distance of both indoor and outdoor tennis facilities. There is a gym with a pool, sauna and steam bath, 5 short blocks away that only charges $20 for a day pass. I can be at Times Square within 20 minutes on the express train that is only 5 blocks away. The bus on the corner takes me directly to the Museum of Natural History.
