  This vacation was a family moon for us. We were joining our two families into one - complete with a beach wedding ceremony. This house was to be our "home for the week." And, it was everything we expected. The house is just as described in the listing. The property was in excellent condition and the location was in a nice, friendly neighborhood. The layout of the house and the size of the bedrooms fit the needs of our bigger family well. The house had board games, books, and DVD players to entertain the kids during the more rainy weather. The house is about 3 minutes away from a beach where a plethora of nice condition whole seashells can be found near the beach erosion barriers - especially if you visit first thing in the morning. There are many other beaches to visit in the immediate area (Treasure Island, Pass-a-grille, Indian Shores, and Fort DeSoto). Don't miss the Seabird Sanctuary in Indian Shores (it's free admission - donations accepted). There was a grocery store nearby that was well stocked and was within walking distance. The kitchen had plenty of pots and tableware to support our large family. And best of all, there was plenty of beach toys for the kids to use. This helped ensure each of our 6 days at the beach with kids (4-9 y/o) went easy and was full of fun. The owner lives nearby and seemed ready to help. You can tell that this is more than just a vacation rental house. It had a nice, welcoming feel and was nicely decorated. We would not hesitate to stay again the next time we come to St Petersburg.

  Our daughter was getting married in St Pertersburg and our family of 3 generations needed a place to stay the week before the wedding. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the clean and cheery atmosphere. The location was great, we could walk to many restaurants, a grocery store, and the beach. We also used the owners bicycles to roam the neighborhood. The beach toys and chairs were a fun addition. We had coffee in the early morning on the front porch ,even with the tree tops, watching the birds and the squirrels. We did not consider the back yard usable, however who needs a yeard when you have a beach just a few blocks away. We would definately recommend this rental to family and friends.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  Our family, including two young kids, stayed here for a week for a wedding at the Don Ceasar. Place was very clean, tidy, nice, and air-conditioned. Front deck is great and breezy and refreshing when it was hot outside. Owner was very friendly and accommodating; including obtaining a pack'n'play for us. Garage also had lots of beach chairs/umbrellas and toys for the kids. Location is great. Easy to get around. Plenty of stores/restaurants in walking distance. A few minutes walk or drive to St Pete's beaches. 5-10 minute ride to Don Ceasar. Close to Fort Desoto, Clearwater and Madeira beach (with mini golf with alligators and shops) 2 hours to Disney. Great experience. Would definitely stay again.

  This home is a great value if you don't mind a short walk or ride to the beach. The back yard is small and not really useable, but with the large front deck and open living area our large family did not really miss this at all.There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance of this residential home, or the trolly stop is only one block away. We lived on St. Pete Beach for 35 years and our family is now all over the country and we wanted to get together for a family gathring. This was a great place to call home base as we spent our week visiting old friends and enjoying the area. We had a couple of repair issues, but the owner was glad to fix them as needed. If you are looking for good restaurants the owners have furnished many menues for local establishments. An all time favorite of ours Woody's is only 3 blocks away, It is a local bar on the intercoast/Gulf passage. They have great fish and many other items to choose from, but the atmosphere is why we go. The owners of this home are very friendly and great to work with, we would recomment this rental to anyone who is looking for a rental on St. Pete Beach.
