South of the Highway in a private community, this extremely comfortable family home has what it takes to make you put your feet up and relax.
Located 1500 feet from the shore line, it's pristine private beach is far from the hustle of the public beach, and the sunsets are spectacular!
This two bedroom, 1100 sq ft loft like house has it's own charm. Open and airy, sunlight cascades throughout the living and eating areas all day. The eat in kitchen is adjacent to an open deck, which is great for early evening BBQ entertaining.
The living areas wood burning fireplace takes the chill out of summer evenings, and the beach is available for evening marshmallow roasting as well. Both bedrooms are comfortable havens from the fun and the sun.
Washer/Dryer on premises. With the outdoor shower located off of the main bathroom, washing off from the beach is easy, especially with kids. Two/three car parking. Nice neighborhood.

Why the Owner Chose Amagansett
Having rented a house down the block from our house for seven years, we purchased this property after years of looking in and around the Hamptons. This is the nicest area in the Hamptons and have we have always thought of this as our "home" through years of business travel, rentals and various property ownership. A great Family House - Our three boys love the house and the access to the beach is wonderful for them. Learning how to bike became possible here as well, due to the privacy of the area. Really is a magical place.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Amagansett has developed into an area that is not as "effected" as the other "Hampton" towns, it has kept it's quaintness. The town is home to "Hampton Chutney", has a yoga center, an nice Mexican Restaurant, and a newer restaurant that is mostly filled with well to do neighbors. We also have the famous Stephen Talk House, with live performers such as Joan Osbourne, Louden Wainwright III, and Leon Russell. A pizzeria, a supermarket that's never too crowded, 2 liquor stores, a few clothing stores, an art gallery, 3 "home-style" stores, 2 great fish stores, a few nurseries and a florist, a deli and one stop light. Enough to keep you busy if you want to be.
