Why the Owner Chose Bigfork
This was Laurie and Dan Averill's personal home for over 30 years. In 2004 they built a new home on adjoining property which they own. Because of the years of memories and the unique and special nature of the property they elected to keep the home and vacation rent it. This is a fun home, in a great location, that relates to the water extremely well. The property is surrounded by Averill's Flathead Lake Lodge so privacy and fun are everywhere.

The location and setting are very unique and special. Bigfork is a charming small resort town that will bring you back year after year.

Outstanding Lake View and Bigfork Proximity

My wife and I have been coming to the Flathead valley and Glacier National Park for past 15 years and have stayed at several houses along the Flathead Lake. This property is by far the best we have every stayed at. The house is roomy and well layed out with lake views from almost every room, 2 large decks, a nice concrete area with a picnic bench by the water and small fire pit area by the lake. Well stocked house with WiFi and nice kitchen for cooking. Proximity to Bigfork with its shops and restaurants is less than 5 minutes away and views looking South down Flathead Lake are some the best on the lake. The dock allowed us to rent a boat from Bigfork and leave it at the property. Two car garage available for cars and storage of items. Home location is secluded away from other homes and highway noise yet very close to Bigfork and Highway 35 if you are headed to Glacier National Park. If you have a choice of properties in the Bigfork area, this house is the one you want.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
