We fell in love with Seaside on our first visit. It is a jewel that is unencumbered by popularity. Its sea breezes takes the edge off hot summer days. Its laid back, friendly atmosphere matches our personality. Originally New Yorkers, we tell people who are curious about Seaside that it is the mentally the farthest you can get from the City in an hour and a half.
Why the Owner Chose Seaside Park
Our house is just a half-block from great swimming, sun-bathing, surfing and fishing in the ocean, and just 2 blocks from great sailing and swimming in Barnegat Bay. Minutes north of us are the rides and nightlife of Seaside Heights. Minutes South is Island Beach State Park, a bird and marine sanctuary perfect for those wanting to escape the crowds and see the wildlife. In addition, seaside Park and great restaurants and the best donut shop on the entire barrier reef (The Park bakery located on 5th Ave and central). If you do nothing else, get some Boston crèmes and the pecan pie.

Very close to a 6 mile board walk. Within walking distance to marinas where you can keep a boat or launch kayaks. A short drive from great super markets and fresh seafood.
