Imagine after a long day at the parks going back to your own private, beautifully decorated home in a safe, quiet, gated community which is only a five-minute drive from Disney! Emerald Island Resort is a tropical oasis as it is nestled within a protected wetland and is just a few miles from Walt Disney World and many other activities in the Orlando area.
Our home has an over-sized lanai area by the private pool which is totally screened in with extra patio furniture to accomodate everyone. TVs in all bedrooms, family room has a large TV with a VCR/DVD combination player and a stereo, CD player. There is a game room in the garage with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, radio, stools etc. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, but if you don't, there are many fabulous restaurants within a five-minute drive. Playstation available, bring your own games or you can rent right down the road.
Two of the bedrooms have twin beds,one has two sets of bunks, two have queen-size beds, and there are two master en suites with king-size beds (king-size and queen-size beds have pillow-top mattresses). We have made every effort to make our home comfortable and inviting. We have paid attention to the little things like pillowtop mattresses, high thread count sheets, name brand bedding, extra pillows, leather couches, etc.
Everyone loves a little fun in their lives so we have themed some of our bedrooms and bathrooms.

We chose to buy in Emerald Island Resort for it's great location to Disney and all the surrounding activities. Restaurants are a few minutes away as well shopping, golf, and of course Disney is only 5 miles down the road.

My husband and I are from New Jersey and love to go to Florida to escape the cold. We found ourselves vising the Disney area every year as our children love the parks and all the activities the Kissimmee area has to offer. They never get bored! We decided after a few years of visiting to buy our own vacation home. We love it. Staying in our home, instead of a hotel is so much more comfortable and relaxing. We love the pool and having own bedrooms to retreat to at the end of a long, but fun day at the parks

We were able to have our entire softball team stay in one place, and for less than individual hotel rooms would have cost us. Everything is EXACTLY how it is pictured on the site. The items in the fridge and pantry when we arrived were so thoughtful. We felt like we were right at home during our stay. Definately dont miss out. If you have a large group there is plenty of room for everyone!

Our stay at your home was absolutely wonderful. There were 14 of us and we had plenty of room. Your home is beautifully decorated and provided us with everything we needed. The location is ideal to all the parks and there is plenty of grocery stores and dining places within a 5 minute drive as well as being conviently located to the airport. I would recommend your home to anyone I know that would be heading to Disney and the surrounding area. The pictures you provide are right on the mark as well as the virtual tour. I really liked the idea of being in a gated community as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Plenty of room for a large family. The pool and hot tub were great. The house is located on a secure, gated resort very close to Disney, Seaworld and Universal Studios. There is also some very good restaraunts and shopping nearby.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this villa with my extended family. To begin Emerald Island Resort is great, it is located just minutes from restaurants, shoping centers, and Disney's entrance. The Villa itselt was extraordinary. The pictures really did not serve it justice. It had all the conveniences of home plus a few others for comfort. The owners were very organized and efficient. They were available for all my questions and request and provided great customer service. We were so pleased, that we extended our stay another day. We enjoyed staying in this beautiful house, we've always stayed in a hotel, this is 100 times better than a hotel. We are originally from Louisiana but we live in Tallahassee. I came to Walt Disney 30 yeas ago. This is the first time my kids have come to visit Disney. They loved it. We brought a next door neighbor. They all loved the house and each had their own bedroom. I enjoyed the whirlpool and my husband too. You have a beautiful house. We enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.
