This simple condo is right on the beach! The beach is not crowded and shade is available from a large tree. In addition, the condo wifi worked on the beach for reading digital books. Lots of turtles and whales. The condo is well equipped and clean. It even had beach chairs and boogie boards. Beautiful sunsets. We will return! Bedroom is air conditioned. When the front door is open for airflow, street noise is heard, but most of the time we were able to keep it closed and could only hear the ocean waves. Can see where this condo could possibly be hot in the summer. Great location!!! Pictures are accurate.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

Stayed there for our honeymoon in Sept 2011. It was close enough to Lahaina that we could run into town for shopping or dinner, yet far enough that we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Nice, quite complex. Everyone was friendly. Loved watching the turtles right outside the Lanai. We hope to return for a future visit!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This was our 2nd time at Kuleana Resorts and by far the best. We loved being so close to the ocean and footsteps from the turtles. We saw 3 whales during the first week here. We absolutely love staying at Kuleana!!!! Location.Location. Location. Listing photos are totally accurate. We could watch the whales while sipping coffee on the lanai. We could watch the sea turtles and even saw 4 of them sun bathing on the beach!!!We could use the grill and watch the sunset.Yes, we would recommend the property to family and friends. We loved our Trilogy excursion to Lanai to see the whales and spinner dolphins. The snorkeling was fantastic.We drove to the Road of Hana and went Soaring.Incredible experience. We went to the Hyatt Luau-Drums of the Pacific. It was very good but have enjoyed Old Lahaina Luau better. We would recommend Mama's Fishouse, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Star Noodle, Kimo's and Sushi at Kobe. Thank you Cimi for the Welcoming gift and for allowing us to stay in your condo!! Just returned from a relaxing anniversary trip and the condo made it extra special. Clean, quiet, and on the water, the condo was great for 2 people. It was a little smaller than we had expected, but like I said, for two people, it was fine for a place to relax and enjoy Maui. And Halloween in Lahaina - a fun fun time.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Nice condo!! The photos and descriptions are quite accurate. We had a wonderful week, but be sure to read your contract carefully. A salad plate broke in the microwave oven, and it cost us $60. (I'm sure you can buy a whole set of dishes for that price.)Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Thank you. Your place was amazing. It fit our needs and can't wait to come back this year. We had fun watching the turtles swim by and bar-b-qing overlooking the ocean. Not only did we swim w/ the turtles we got to swim w/ dolphins when we went out on a boat ride to Molokini and we even saw whales even thou we were they a week before the season started.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

We recently stayed for one week in 706 with our new baby and we were very pleased. The unit is in a perfect location if you're looking for something modern, private and truly only steps away from the ocean. The grounds at Kuleana are beautiful and the pool was clean and not too busy. The Kuleana complex is only a 5 minute drive from a grocery store in Kaanapali.Did you find this review helpful? We really enjoyed our time at the Kuleana Resort. Our host Cimi was very accommodating and the newly remodeled unit was perfect for a couple. The Lanai is just about 30 steps from the water. The grounds are well maintained along with the Stainless Barbecue Grills and a wonderful deep pool to enjoy. We recommend to any couple looking for a relaxing break from this crazy world we live in.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Mahalo Cimi for providing an amazing place to relax, enjoy and experience everything an island paradise has to offer. Whether its sitting on the lanai listening to palm trees sway in the breeze while gazing at an ocean of three shades of blue/green with waves crashing just feet away to casual day trips to see the island, the Kuleana Resort and Unit 706 is the place! The unit and grounds are incredible and exactly as described on your website. Mornings were spent on the lanai sipping coffee and eating toasted English muffins with the "locals" aka tropical birds while watching turtles swim in the surf. Evenings were spent in awe of every sunset from the lanai and in particularly we enjoyed the lighting of the torches every night along the surf for that true sensation of island paradise. I fell in love with the property and ended up buying a unit and calling it my home. Now, you can enjoy the beauty that I have lived and experienced for the last 20 years.
