Why the Owner Chose Port Townsend
I set out to restore this building for office space for my software company but later decided to put very high end residential condos in the building instead. Since things are so distressed in the real estate market, I decided to furnish the condos and put them in the luxury vacation rental marketplace. There is no better place in the Pacific Northwest to vacation than Port Townsend and there is certainly no better place to stay while you're in Port Townsend than the Clam Cannery.

My name is Kevin Harris. I bought the Clam Cannery building and began restoring it after it sat vacant for more than 4 decades. I used local artisan craftsmen in the restoration work and their attention to detail and skill is evidenced throughout the building. Both inside and out, The Clam Cannery is one of the most beautiful waterfront buildings in Puget Sound, and I'm glad I was the person who got the opportunity to bring this amazing property back to life.
