Large 4 Bedroom, 2.5 bath home in the Black Forest. (approx 2000 sq ft) Our house in the quaint village of Kandern, Germany is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, a swimming pool, shopping, and on Saturday mornings there is a fresh garden market in the town square.
The property has a garden with a teak garden table that seats 6-8, and a private covered patio for grilling. Two car parking in front driveway.
We are on the border of France, Switzerland and Germany. We are 30 minutes from Basel, Switzerland and 25 minutes from Mulhouse, France. We are about 45 minutes from the larger city Freiburg, Germany. (15 minutes from Loerrach, Germany)
There are so many sights to see that I can't list them all. But, every major German city has a museum and loads of history! Plus there are 5 castles within 15-20 minutes of the house.
My favorite part of Black Forest life is the walking/biking paths. There are walking and biking paths for miles and miles in this area. We have 5 bikes that you can use...2 adult, one teen and 2 children's bikes.
