Welcome to our vacation rental home overlooking the Smokies from Julie Mountain, just outside of Hayesville, North Carolina. If you are looking for a quiet and private getaway on the edge of the Nantahala National Forest, you're sure to love Julie Mountain Hideaway. Our two bedroom home offers lodging for up to 10 people, but we welcome smaller groups. We look forward to your visit soon!
Julie Mountain Hideaway, is near Hayesville, NC, Lake Chatuge and is an easy drive to Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City for whitewater rafting etc. Our hideaway is a fabulous 2 bedroom mountain home in the Smoky Mountains that can accommodate from 1-10 guests. Pet friendly (with owner permission!), we'd love to share our views and paths through the Nantahala National Forest with you. Come and relax, enjoy the privacy of a home in the woods and access to great hiking trails and most of all the peace of a mountain home escape.
With its open, airy floor plan, you'll feel like you're living in a tree house! Rustically decorated, our Hideaway doesn't skimp on creature comforts. Our full kitchen has all the utensils and pots you need to make a terrific feast. A full size washer and dryer are available to help you pack light. The great room has plenty of seating and a woodstove to provide ambiance and a toasty glow for cool nights.
The upstairs lofted sitting area has a free-standing fireplace to keep you toasty all night long. The wall of glass offers spectacular views of Julie Mountain and others in lovely shades of blue or the incredible fall colors.
The roomy master bedroom has a king size bed, bed tables, and its own access to the deck. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed with private access to the deck. The adjoining bath has a garden tub with Jacuzzi for your relaxation after a day of hiking - or lazing about with a book.
The wrap around deck offers spectacular views and is perfect for reading, napping, or just gazing at the beauty around you.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Jan-May - $130/night .. $700/week .. $2200/month (3 night minimum)
Jun-Dec, Holidays - $150/night .. $800/week .. $2900/month (3 night minimum)
Additional 6.75% sales and 3% occupancy (total of 9.75%)
Security Deposit - $100; Reservation fee - $50 to hold dates, put toward rent
$50 non-refundable pets fee- decided on individual basis (2 pets max)
If left excessively dirty/trashy, then we will deduct from security deposit.
No additional cleaning fee.
