I was trekking along the banks of Lake Erie in northern Ohio when I arrived at this charming home in Huron. I needed a relaxing place to stay while still being close to all the fun and excitement in the area – this place was it!

There’s plenty of room in this house for a bear and his family. Each room is thoughtfully decorated in warm, inviting colors. The bedrooms are comfortable and a perfect spot for relaxation while affording everyone in the group some peace and quiet. The cubs found plenty to do in the finished basement; toys, videos, coloring books, soft couches, space to play games. They had a great time having their own space away from the family.

I had a fantastic time whipping up bear-treats in the updated and beautiful kitchen while the family kicked back in the comfy living room. I think Mama Bear even snuck away, now and again, to take a nap in the cozy sunroom, though she insists she was just reading a book!

When we weren’t spending time enjoying the house, we found plenty to do thanks to the helpful area information that the homeowner provided. Turns out we could visit the beach, ride ferry boats, and even experience the world-famous coasters at Cedar Point amusement park, all a short drive from this great home.

  This house was perfect for the 12 of us that stayed there. It was close enough to Cleveland for us to drive in and watch the Bills destroy the Cleveland Browns. Plan on renting again next summer for a weekend to Cedar Point, which us only 8 miles from the house. The house was very clean and anything we could need was there. Two thumbs up!

  We also were a large group and found this house very comfortable. There were more than enough linens, towels and dishes. There is lots to do with the park across the street, the nature preserve and easy access to Hwy. 2 and Hwy. 6 to travel to Sandusky and Cleveland. We were amazed at how friendly the people were in Huron. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiles and friendly conversation. A great place to have a family vacation.

  We had lots of fun staying here on our family vacation this year. There were 14 of us and plenty of sleeping room for everyone. We found a couple neighborhood parks to take the grandkids to and they had lots of fun. Very conveniently located to Sandusky.

  This house is very nice and comfortable. If you have a large group it will comfortably fit your needs. The beds are comfortable and the basement is one of the nicest you will ever see. I really enjoyed relaxing in the sun romm reading. You cannot go wrong.

  This is such a wonderful house. I had a group of 13 adults and there was more than enough space. The house is beautiful and came equipped with everything that you need and more. The house was very clean when we arrived! The owner of the house was very helpful and easy to work with and made the process of renting this home smooth and painless. I was a bit nervous at first because this was my first time renting a home but to stay the least I was more than pleased! I totally recommend that anyone visiting Lake Erie stay at this house! Thanks for making my vacation a comfortable and enjoyable experience!

  We enjoyed our stay at your Huron vacation home. Three generations enjoyed the area from Cedar Point to the Ferry's. Your home had everything we needed. Plenty of space, comfortable bedding, a perfect home away from home. We rent vacation homes every year for our vacations and this one was definetly one of the best. Thank you

  We stayed with a group of 10 adults and several small children and found this home to be very comfortable with lots of different areas for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The upstairs bedrooms were huge with lots of floor space for sleeping bags or cots and we were able to use the air mattresses in the basement to additional sleeping. Everyone slept well on clean, comfortable beds and pillows and there were tons of towels for everyone to have their own. We cooked every meal in the cute kitchen and had lots of fun! Our stay was relaxing and comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our time enjoyable and relaxing. The very few minor issues we ran into were resolved immediately with communication with Elizabeth and I would highly recommend this home for a comfortable, enjoyable stay in Huron!

  I recently stayed here with a group of seven. The house was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of space for all of us, the beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and neat, and the rooms were the perfect size for us. The location is wonderful, close to Cedar Point where we spent a day, and the owners were so thoughtful as to provide some coupons to the park for our use. The house is also about five miles from Wal-Mart and the mall, so the last-minute shopping we needed to do was convenient. I loved the downstairs which features a finished basement complete with an entertainment system - my group watched movies (also provided in the house) almost every night together there, and we also used the large table downstairs as our group dining area. There was a park right across the street, so this would be a great house for a family with children! I was extremely pleased and impressed by the accomodations in the house. I had packed cleaning supplies, cookware, bedding, etc., expecting the house to be more or less empty, but everything that we needed for the weekend was already there. It took a lot of stress off of our shoulders and saved us a lot of money since we were able to prepare all of our meals in the kitchen instead of eating out. This house was absolutely perfect for our needs and really felt like a home away from home. Thank you for such a comfortable and relaxing stay!

  Our families came here for a weekend getaway and it was such a comfortable place to come back at the end of the day. They are close to some nice beaches and parks and their are places for groceries and other items. The basement was great for dinners and a nice entertainment area. Its definitely convenient for multiple families because one family of 6 stayed upstairs and a family of five were downstairs. We would definitely stay here again!
