This is all within easy walking distance of this condo. Yet, upon immediately entering this retreat, one is struck by the captivating, serene and panoramic view of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and Ferry Boats as they cruise to and from the neighboring islands.

Beach Drive/Alki Beach has an island feel yet Downtown Seattle is 15 minutes away. By car, public transportation or Elliot Bay Water taxi- all connect you to Pike Place Market, Downtown Shopping and Theatres and Museums, Seattle Waterfront, Safeco Ballpark of the Seattle Mariners, Qwest Field - home of our NFL Seahawks and FC Seattle Sounders. Downtown Seattle is the contemporary heart of the Pacific Northwest, but Alki is the Birthplace of Seattle.   • WOW, what a stunning place to stay at. Listening to the ocean waves lap at the beach below, so relaxing. Even the rain periodically, did not dampen the beautiful scenery. The changing of the leaves on the trees, spectacular! Everything we did was only a short drive away which was very convenient. We loved the little touches when we showed up, little pumpkins on the table, candies in the coffee table dish, made this truly feel like a home away from home. There was so much to do and so little time. We will certainly be back again! Thank you so much!

  • Hi Elaine, Thank you so much for a perfect week’s vacation! Your condo exceeded our expectations, the view was of the sound was stunning and the condo is beautiful and well appointed. I especially appreciated your email updates of suggested activities in the area. Alki Beach Park was a very short and scenic walk from the condo with nearby restaurants and a small general store. We also took advantage of the fire pits right on the beach! Lincoln Park was a great hit with the salt water public pool. We were also able to take a water taxi across Elliott Bay that dropped us near Pike Street market area of downtown Seattle. We hope to make your condo at Alki beach a yearly family retreat!
