  My brother and his family joined our family at this wonderful cabin. It was clean, orderly and well stocked. We enjoyed our special time together at the coast and would consider going back to this spot in a heart beat. The cabin had everything that we needed to make a very comfortable three days. With 4 teenage kids, they had the space to spread out and have a place of their own. The beach was an easy walk and was so beautiful...body surfing in June...crazy and cold. If you are considering this cabin, we highly recommend it to you.

• Amazing house!

  My family rented this beautiful property for the month of December 2011 and loved every minute of it. This house has everything you need. Although it does have heat, we used the wood burning stove every day and the house was warm and cozy. We watched people (including my grandkids and son-in-law) jump into the ocean in the annual polar plunge and shopped at the cute stores in Manzanita, hiked to Oswald beach and ate fresh crab. We celebrated Winter Solstice, Hanukkah and Christmas during this month. When you rent this house it becomes your home away from home. Your cleaning fee is worth every penny because the house was spotless when we arrived. Highly recommend!

  You probably heard me say "wow" when I walked in the front door here… Cape Falcon is a splendid hike. Bonfires on the beach with s'mores!!! Thank you for sharing this comfortable home with us.

  We just wanted to say thank you for extending to us your beautiful summer camp at Manzanita...we all fell in love with it! You have such excellent attention to detail and with two architects and a former architect/designer in our group, we were completely enamored! The set-up is perfect and the beds were the best I've ever slept in. My 8 year old son said to me as I was tucking him in tonight in his own bed, "I had three nights of sleeping in the most comfortable bed!" (both of our kids slept in the middle bunks while our friends' kids slept way up high on the top bunks.) I guess it's time we get him a new bed...

  …have spent several weeks relaxing & having a wonderful time here at Summer Camp in Manzanita. This is our second visit to Manzanita and we just love it. It is still as quaint as ever and has one of the best beaches along this coast, we think. We will miss Summer Camp and the cool decks & bunkhouse where the kids have hung-out a lot! It has been so relaxing here and we've spent a lot of time reading books and playing all the board games -- including a new one my son now wants to buy "Settlers of Catan". Lots of walks on the beach, boogie boarding and hanging-out. We've done several hikes and recommend Neahakanne Mountain on a clear day, Falcon Cover and Ecola Stake Park.

  Beautiful weather, a stunning home, a short walk to the beach, the cozy wood stove, the bunkhouse, dinner on the deck, bonfires, walks on the beck, good friends, great food, a trip to Oswald West State Park. Thank you very much for the chance to stay in your home.

  LOVE Manzanita and this amazing house! Could not have been better … from the super fun bunk house, to the deck, outdoor shower (my favorite) and sunny weather -- the perfect mini vacation with friends. A great time was had by all! Looking forward to another visit…
