We are surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and centrally located mid Malibu only minutes in either direction to all the area has to offer. Located 3 blocks above the Pacific Ocean and a 5 minute golf cart ride to the sand of Latigo Shores and Escondido Beach. Featuring open beam ceiling's , spanish tile floors, and walls of french doors that open onto patio space you can enjoy the gardens and aroma of citrus trees. Dine under the vine covered pergola and enjoy beautiful sunset's. Star gaze at night by the outdoor fire pit or in the comfort of the hot tub.
Beach chairs,umbrella's and cooler's are available for your use. Kayaking the kelp beds as well as surf instructions can also be arranged . Enjoy hikes on Point Dume, lunch at Paradise Cove, or visit nearby Escondido Falls. A short drive takes you to Malibu's wine trail for tasting's from our local and regional vineyards. Whether you are an outdoors enthusiast or a beach comber the option's are endless.
When you are ready to venture out of paradise you are only 35-40 minutes to Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. Venice Beach and Santa Monica are just 20 to 25 minutes along the Pacific Coast .

This was our first time using VRBO and we couldn’t have been happier with this property. After spending hours reviewing each and every available listing in Malibu, we agreed this home had everything we were looking for – and more! - to spend a week with family during the holidays. The Arnolds even decorated a Christmas tree prior to our arrival – such gracious homeowners. Nothing about the property disappointed these seasoned travelers…the home is beautiful, cozy, and tastefully decorated, making one feel as if they are staying at a luxury coastal resort. High-end kitchen “essentials” made entertaining with family an absolute pleasure, whether indoors or al fresco with heat lamps. We have recommended this property to several friends and hope they, too, are able to enjoy an equally spectacular time in Malibu.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Amazing property with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Located in close proximity of most Malibu attractions, 3 ½ miles from Pepperdine University. Every detail of the house is exquisite. The gardens and patio are beautiful and relaxing. The owners are gracious, hospitable, and a great source of local knowledge. We have stayed at other VRBO properties around the country and this is one of our very favorites.

This is a very special place and has all of the comforts of home and more. The owners of this property are wonderful and welcoming- sure to answer any question you may have regarding local haunts and things to do with the children. This will become a family tradition for us to return each year!
