This cabin is called the LOONSTONE LODGE for a few special reasons. The home has many stone architectural elements inside and outside, it is located on Stone Lake (a very clear 523 acre lake near Hayward), and it has many loon families that frequent the lake. It is extremely private since it is located on almost 300 ft of frontage and is surrounded by big Pine trees. Sit back on the large deck or balcony to the master BR suite and enjoy the peaceful setting. It has a large flat front yard for family games when not on the water.
You are immediately welcomed by the interior stone architecture and the rustic elegance of each room. It feels like your very own lodge getaway with the stonework and the unique wood burning fireplace in case the evenings get a bit chilly. Take the stone step up to the large kitchen within a cove of windows and adjoining dining room. You have 2 king beds to enjoy, one of them is the huge Master suite with its own balcony overlooking the lake. There is a large 3rd bedroom with bunks, a single and queen with a full bath attached. The home has many windows both at the floor level and elevated to capture the day but filtered by the many Pine trees that surround the property.
Outside, you have a large private deck that overlooks the lake and this property's sandy beach and large swim area. Grill your favorite meal with a Weber gas grill or smoker after a long day on the water. Did you know that Stone Lake has one of the highest water clarity ratings and has great fishing? The elevation is excellent with only 15 steps to a sandy beach and large swim area. Sit around the large fire pit overlooking the water and listen to the evening calls of the loons or tell that fish story one more time.
