Ours is the larger two bedroom unit, upstairs with vaulted ceilings and near the Cook Street gate to Desert Falls Country Club
Start your day right, viewing a sunrise from the deck or snow-capped peaks from the breakfast nook. Or, walk over to the clubhouse to read the paper over a breakfast burrito. There are other choices, too! Starbuck's at the nearby Marriott Desert Springs Resort, Goody's Cafe about a mile away or take a short bike ride to Sherman's Deli. These are ways we started our day over the past couple of years while we lived here.
Do you like activities? You have member access to the tennis club, including free and organized play. The fitness center is newly renovated and includes racquetball, table tennis and Foosball. Desert Falls is one of the friendliest and most popular clubs in the desert. Guest play is welcome on the championship course. Across the street are 36 holes at Desert Willow Golf Course.
Hiking in the desert is wonderful and the owners can give you tips on some of their favorites.
If you don't mind a little heat, consider coming June - October. You will be rewarded by dry, warm nights, amazingly inexpensive golf (last year $39 unlimited golf included a $15 lunch) and easy access to the beach areas of Orange County, the wine country of Temecula or the quaint mountain retreat at Idyllwild.
