Great location & house for those vacationing with kids!

Stayed there with 2 adult & 3 kids (ages 4-11) and is a GREAT choice for those vacationing with kids. As said by others, the large flat yard area with trampoline & payset as well as the basketball hoop (& bball available) provides hours of fun for the kids. The media room has a very good 5.1 sound system w/deep sub, Blue Ray & excellent sound proofing. Wifi setup is also excellent. House was clean & an important point for us since we have sensetive allergies - pet/hair free! House is literally 90 seconds to a major grocery store (easy for those midnight ice cream runs) and just about exactly between SeaWorld & Legoland. Easy to get really anywhere in the area. Excellent beach with kids playset right down the main road. We cooked a lot (only went out for dinner twice in a week) and the kitchen worked fine. Good calphalon cookware, SS fridge, blender, block knife set, plenty of plates & cups, etc. Beds, linens, towels, etc. were all as advertised. Rob is easy to work and communicate with. My entire family wants to come back again!

My family - 6 adults, 4 children - really enjoyed our stay at the house. It is really big and spread out, and the bedrooms are divided into two wings such that noise doesn't really travel from one side to another. The sitting areas are comfortable, there are numerous big tvs and surround sound, the dining table seats 10, the bedrooms were mostly comfortable. The yard is truly amazing - huge, with a terrific playset and a trampoline. The kids loved it and spent most of the week playing out there. The location of the house is very convenient. You are close to grocery stores and some excellent restaurants, as well as Solana beach, which is very family friendly (there's a playground and restrooms right at the entrance). The house is also very close to I-5, so it's easy to get around the San Diego area. You can hear the noise from the highway when you're out in the yard, but it's sort of a low white noise rumble, and not disturbing at all. We couldn't hear it from inside the house at all. The house is as advertised - the pictures are accurate and the listing location was right. The kitchen could be slightly better - newer appliances and better cooking utensils would have been appreciated - and the cleaning service could do a slightly better job on some surfaces and floors, but overall we were very pleased. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Great Vacation Home!

This home was everything the listing said and more. It was clean and well stocked with fresh fruit and essentials but also a great set up for our needs. We were there with our two young sons (3 and 1 1/2) as well as my parents and there was plenty of room for all of us. The rooms are also divided into two separate wings providing a bit of privacy as well. The patio was great for everyone, and the boys loved the huge yard and swing set, and particularly the trampoline, which was an unexpected surprise (and safely enclosed). Rob and Leia were extremely helpful and attentive. The location was great - not far to anything, the beach, Legoland, Miramar, the zoo, etc. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we return to California!

The listing and Photos are accurate. The house was very easy to find there was no noise issue being close to the Interstate. Very large fenced in yard to allow our children (and our friends children) to run around. The house was very clean, well stocked with all amenities down to a fruit bowl, fresh flowers and food in the fridge. It was very easy to deal with Rob thru emails. Will definitely stay here again when we next visit the San Diego area.

An EXCELLENT experience!! Having initially chosen to stay in a hotel in San Diego, my husband and I realized after 24 hours that this was a mistake. We have 2 boisterous boys, ages 4 and 5, who really needed the space to run around and play. I contacted Rob and we were able to rent this beautiful home within the hour (and stayed 6 days). It was fantastic and met our every need. Rob and Lela were wonderfully helpful and accommodating. The house was spotless and well appointed. The backyard was perfect for young children. The location was ideal for visiting local attractions (e.g. Legoland). I would highly recommend this rental home and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future!
