Great value condo with spectacular view

Emily & Charles were easily contactable and the transaction went by smoothly. We enjoyed our stay at the end of April 2012. The location is perfect; close enough to walk to Ala Moana Mall and Waikiki Beach. The photos are very accurate to the condition of the unit. The kitchen has pots, pans and basic utensils. If you're going to be cooking a lot at home, you'll likely have to buy oil (though we left some for the next guests). There is only a strainer, which is good for veggies and pasta. Everything else you will need to buy or cook simple (e.g. no peeler.) The shower/bath is quite high up and I would imagine this would be very difficult to get in for young or elderly guests. The parking rates were $1/hour by the water, unless you could catch the free Marina parking from 4:30am to 10:30pm. There is a 6 hour limit on this parking and is intended for "recreational or marina use only." We found ourselves using the pay parking mostly. From Monday-Friday, it costs $6 for 10 hours, $12 for 24. On Saturdays & Sundays, we found it was $1/hour no matter what, even though there were no signs saying so. Be careful: the pay parking is by stall, so if you're planning to park for 24 hours, you will need to park there for that long. If you leave and someone takes your stall, be prepared to repay for parking. There were a couple beach chairs on the patio that we didn't use. They also had some extra beach towels. If you're traveling on a budget, I would definitely recommend this unit! It's clean and provides more than enough for a week in Oahu. Most hotels with kitchenettes will cost you a fortune.

The condo was great! Just like the pictures! We had a car but did not need it because the condo was close to everything but just far enough away from busy Waikiki to have peaceful nights. Many restaurants right next door. Emily was great! This was my first time renting a condo while on vacation and not staying in a commercial property. I was very pleased and from this experience I will certainly do it again! If my travels ever take me back to Oahu I want to stay here again!

My husband and I just got back from spending two weeks at this lovely condo. It was clean and had everything in it that we needed to be comfortable. The condo is in a great location. It is not in the busyiest area of Waikiki Beach,which was nice. We were able to walk the length of the beach easily though. I found Charles and Emily very easy and helpful to work with. We would recommend this property if you want a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.We drove up to the North shore several times and I think we walked on about every beach on the island. The weather was great. Don't overpack. A bathing suit with cover up and casual clothes to go out to dinner at night is all you need. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Charles and Emily for sharing your condo with us.

Our family vacationed there and what a sight. You get the views of the ocean and harbor all at one. The best part was we just a hop away from the Hilton village where the kids enjoyed swimming in the lagoon. If you wanted the beach, it was literally steps away or you go take a stroll to Ala Moana beach also. Best of we were close the Ala Moana shopping mall. We did not have to rent a car at all and was in the middle of most bus stops. The room was nicely appointed with a sofa and two beds with cold working AC. The bathroom was clean with a combined tub and shower and with granite finishes. We also like the fact the kitchen had granite and big refrigerator. It allows minor cooking and came with toaster, oven, blender, most which we never used. The only thing I would recommend and being extra picky, it would have been nice if there was plastic wrap there or a good can opener. But these little details are so minor compared to the overall value of the condo. Laundry service was down hall and cost around $2.50 for washer and dryer each. All in all would I go here again and recommend my friends and family? The answer is definitely yes. If you want great views, clean living quarters, excellent value, this condo cannot be beat. We spent 4 nights in September at this beautiful condo. It is exactly as described/pictured - spacious, clean, modern and close to everything. Check-in was easy. There was a great view - loved watching the sunset. As mentioned in other posts, it is on the edge of Waikiki - so a bit of a walk, but a pleasant one. It's close to the bus stop and the Ala Moana mall. It was convenient having a phone available for calls to the US/Canada. Thanks for the wonderful stay! We highly recommend this place.

My wife and I would definitely recommend this Condo for your visit to Honolulu. Location is perfect to visit the downtown attractions and Waikiki Beach. Easy access to shopping, car not necessary unless you want to get around the rest of the island. We rented a car for two days of our nine day stay and that gave us plenty of time to see the sights around the island. Condo is extremely comfortable, appreciated the free long distance to Canada to stay in touch with family. Internet worked great as well.

My family and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute! The unit has been reno'd very nicely and was spottless when we arrived. It was really nice to have a kitchen, especially with a toddler... And there's a Food Pantry just down the road that is great for groceries and is reasonable. Everything you need to have a fantastic vacation is all within walking distance. The beach was great and the lagoon was perfect for our little one to splash around in. I would definitely recommend staying here, we had an excellent time. Thanks Charles, we'll be back! Joe

Great time at a great place

It was a very pleasant stay during our vacation in Hawaii. Our first time in the island and being able to get all the great amenities with a very competitive price in a very strategic location is a BIG plus. The location is within walking distance from the biggest mall in Oahu, and lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel. However if you want to go to Waikiki it's quite a walk.. an enjoyable one nonetheless because there's lots to see on your way there. You can also hop on the trolley that will take you there. The view from the place is spectacular, you can see the sunrise and rainbows at times. Parking is behind the building or across at the marina. At $1/hour it's really a bargain. We really had a wonderful time here, we would recommend this place and come back to it again when we visit Hawaii

The room has an incredible view (the ocean, city and mountains all at once! The location is fantastic, with the night life just down the road but yet quiet by the hotel! 2 minutes to the beach and 5 mins from the Ala Moana Shopping Mall walking! Amenities (microwave, fridge and stove) were modern and up to date and in great working order. The double beds are very comfortable. The a/c worked very well and the TV is a large flat screen. The room is very spacious but the tub is very high and small, not easy to get into if you are short! ( I am 5'2"), but this would not deter me from staying here again. I would definitely stay here again...was a wonderful experience! Thanks Charles!

My parents, sister and I stayed at the above Condo. My Mum and sister stayed for the first week and Dad and I stayed on for the second week. The Condo is tastefully docorated, well kept,and with plenty of room for the four of us.The view over the Marina and beyond is as spectacular as the people are friendly. We like to cook and were able to do that easily as the Kitchen was well equipped for four. It was very special to dine on the balcony with a View to Review...again I hope. P.S. The parking at the Marina is the best value in town

Great Condo and great view! Location is excellent and close to everything off Waikiki. Charles was very accomadating and easy to work with in making arrangements for our stay. Access was fine and felt very secure with electronic keypad on door. Beds were very comfortable and condo was spotless when we arrived. Definately recommended and price was very competitive.

This condo is a real find!!! Situated in a fully serviced apartment block gives you the advantage of having an activities desk and other services to make your holiday special. Plus the complex has one of the best restaurants in Waikiki on their top floor which also offers great cocktail specials. It is so well located. Just a hop skip and jump to Ala Moana Shopping Centre, right next to a very lovely beach park and directly across from the big Marina makes for one of the best views in Waikiki. If you do need to go further the bus service stops right outside the complex. Having the big Hilton lagoon next door is such an advantage if you are a keen sunbather or just like laying on the sand to relax. The furnishings are very nice and contemporary - the owners are very thoughtful and helpful. We highly recommend this condo and can't wait for our next stay there. Cherie and Marinco

This Condo was rented for business purposes; I was attending to business in Hawaii. Staying in this Condo was awesome; the full size Kitchen was a god send. I had choices, the ability to eat in after an exhausting day or I could go out to dinner at the multiple choices I had to pick from. The Condo was / is beautiful. I had workspace to use my laptop with the provided high speed internet. I also had the option to sit out on the Lanai (patio) to do work. I didn't try it because I know I can't work while I'm staring out at the beautiful view. I also had the joy of watching sunsets from the Lanai or really anywhere in the condo. Being on the 21st floor was great because I slept with Lanai doors (with 8 - 10 foot opening) open every night. Another wonderful thing about the Condo has nothing to do with the condo is that I was about 5 minutes from the beach. Being a Cigar smoker I enjoyed smoking cigars while walking in the surf or the boardwalk (concrete Sidewalk) along Waikiki. I think this was the most relaxing business trip I’ve ever been on. By the way parking was a breeze, behind the building there is marina parking at $.25 an hour. So if you park your car there for $6.00 a day. Screaming deal.Thanks Charles for the ease of use and the ease of registration. I enjoyed every bit of my time in your Condo.
