Why the Owner Chose Marathon
We saw this house by boat when we were renting a house behind it on a canal. It sits on a corner lot and has great views, but still has protected dockage for our boat. We loved all of the windows and the unique, clean, modern architectural style. We bought our first house in Marathon and kept our eyes on this one for several years before we had the opportunity to buy it. It's our dream house, and we love being able to share it.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Watching the water and palm trees from the Main room of the house is very relaxing. Being on stilts, you have a great unobstructed view of the protected cove and endless views of the Gulf of Mexico. Yesterday, we saw four manatees swim by in the morning and again in the evening.

If you love to fish and dive, this house is for you! Great snorkeling right off the dock! Easy access to the Gulf, just a short trip to the Ocean through either Vaca Cut or out under the Seven Mile Bridge.
