  We loved this home – truly wonderful! Two families, totaling four adults and five children stayed here very contentedly for 10 days. We had excess room inside and even used one of the extra bedrooms exclusively as an office. Likewise the large back yard was a real bonus for our big group as the kids had a vast amount of room to run and play. Most impressive though was the extra effort and thought put into furnishing the home for optimal comfort…and entertainment. The home was decked out with loads of movies, fully functioning office capabilities, vast amounts of adult/children’s books, and more toys than our children knew what to do with. We also really appreciated the fact that the kitchen was so well stocked – even condiments, spices, and tin foil.…they were all there. Thank you for such a great stay!

  We had a great time with friends during the 2011 holiday season. We rented the house for 7 nights; the house was very well stocked and was decorated for Christmas. House was kid friendly as well, with quite a collection of kids toys. The basement/media room proved to be really useful during feeding time :)

  Colin and Grace, Our family were more than pleased.the home has everything one could ask for.First off the location is so convenient...we drove easily to Pike Market,Seattle and Redmond...the yard and setting are very pleasant. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and living and family rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable.The collection of children toys kept my grandchildren and myself occupied....I must say this home is well worth renting!!!!! THANKS again...t.d.selway

  I just spent 4 nights at this "Rental House," as we called it on the GPS! Eight of us stayed here comfortably. It was clean and spacious....plenty of room to spread out. We all arrived from different locations for a wedding. It was perfect, as we were able to spend precious time with family. And speaking of location....I found that it was a good spot to travel back and forth...from Snohomish to Seattle... The first evening we drove to Kirkland waterfront where there was a free concert... Such a nice place. I would definitely recommend it.

  This home was our home away from Colorado for nine nights. It was exactly what we needed to celebrate Christmas and an after Christmas wedding! We arrived wondering how to make the home "Christmas" ready and were delighted to find inside decorations, including a decorated tree in the living room and outside Christmas lights! The owners had definitely gone above and beyond to make the house feel like Christmas. The home is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, only five minutes away from two different grocery stores and about ten minutes from a mall and a Costco. In good traffic, we were able to get to Pike Place Market in twenty minutes and SeaTac airport in thirty minutes. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a traditional turkey dinner for Christmas as well as brunch for the groomsmen the morning of the wedding! The television located in the downstairs living area helped minimize noise in the house. The small refrigerator and microwave downstairs was convenient for supplementing the kitchen upstairs since we had food for Christmas and the rehearsal dinner to store. We slept from four people to twelve people and it was very comfortable. The three bathrooms made it a great experience for everyone. The beds were very comfortable. The laundry facilities are state of the art and in an actual laundry room so the washer and dryer was very convenient to use without bothering anyone with extra noise. The wifi worked extremely well as did the state of the art entertainment system. We were extremely pleased that we were able to stay in this home. We will definitely choose this home if we are ever in the area again!

• Not worth the money!

  This is a bi-level tract home probably built in the 70's when these were popular. When you enter, you either have to go up stairs to the main living level or down stairs to the "basement" or rec room level. We rented this house to have a family gathering place over the Thanksgiving 2010 Holiday. Our daughter lives and works in Seattle but her one bedroom apt would not accommodate the four of us. There are some pluses and negative here so let me start with.. The Good: Quiet neighborhood not too far from groceries etc. Kitchen fairly well equipped. Some outside enhancements but it was too cold to utilize. Certainly no fault of the owner. Nice big TV. The Bad: Full size curb at the entrance of the driveway makes entering without scraping impossible. Furnished in "early rummage." Bottom bunk of bunkbeds had only a box spring. Master bath impossibly small. The whole place needs some upgrading. The Ugly: For this kind of money I at least expected clean. First thing I saw was a mixer in the kitchen covered with caked on flour. My daughter bought a magic sponge and spent an hour cleaning the woodwork in the upstairs hallway. Tile missing behind the stove. Thermostat ridiculously difficult to operate. Carpets could use cleaning. There's more but you get the idea. Summary: Badly overpriced anywhere but Seattle.

  Owner response: I'm sorry that you were not completely satisfied with the house. This is the first time we have had someone have any problem with it. We strive to go above and beyond our guests' expectations, and we will take your comments seriously. As I am sure people will find, we offer very competitive rates, and I will make sure that we continue to offer a competitive value on the cost of this VRBO. To help future guests, we had entered in a note about the driveway so that people with a lower riding vehicle will know to enter the driveway at an angle. There are also instructions for the thermostat, to help our guests if they have any trouble setting it. I believe you were mistaken about the bunkbed. Both bunks have twin mattresses, but do not have boxsprings, because the bunkbed is not designed to have boxsprings below the mattresses. I'm sorry if you were dissatisfied in any other ways. But as I am sure the other guest responses show, we strive to impress with our VRBO.

  We found the home to be comfortable and well supplied. Everything was clean which was very important to all of us. Our only concern came with the necessity to go down stairs to watch TV as we had an 85 year old who struggled to get down and up. Might suggest there be a tv available on the main - floor living room, too. Other than that issue, we had a great time and the location worked for us to get into Seattle and the Airport easily. Loved the Beach Cafe! Not far south and on the water. If you go to Seattle take a ride on "The Duck". Great tour and lot's of fun.

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay at your home. We had lots of room to spread out and the small kids had a great place to play downstairs. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the home was stocked with kitchenware, coffee grinder and lots of pots and pans. We saved a lot by cooking there instead of going out. The kids loved the toys you had available and the backyard provided lots of good space to run off some energy. Thanks again, we'll see you next year.

  Those staying at the home consisted of 5 adults and 2 children (an infant and a toddler). The home was spacious. There was plenty of room to visit and to get together with other family members staying in the area. The home was fantastic for a family or multiple adults. It was clean and comfortable. The big screen TV was awesome. It was fun to have a deck with a patio set and a grill. We also enjoyed having three bathrooms. The master bed was extremely comfortable. The front room and family room were large with plenty of seating. It was nice to have a washer and dryer and the kitchen was well equipped. It was very easy to care for a toddler there. The outside play equipment, port-a-crib, high chair, fenced yard, and toys and books were great for entertaining children.
