The lovely apartment in the heart of Trastevere is located on the first floor of a historical building dating back to the 17th century. It has been recently renovated to make it more comfortable, but at the same time maintaining its charming characteristics. Via della Luce is a very peaceful street with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and transportation. Today Trastevere still maintains its character to its narrow, winding, irregular cobbled streets lined by medieval houses. At night both natives and tourists alike flock to its many pubs and restaurants. The unique character of this neighborhood attracts artists, poets, musicians, and many famous people. This lovely apartment has wooden beams of the ceiling, so typical of old Trastevere, and nicely decorated walls with renowned paintings. The beautiful Tuscan tiles of the floor and the warm cream color of the walls give a sense of harmony and beauty.
The area is home to John Cabot University, The American Academy in Rome, Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, The Canadian University of Waterloo School of Architecture, and the American Institute School of Architecture.
The apartment is minutes away from the beautiful square of Santa Maria in Trastevere, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon. Within a block you can board a bus to Largo Argentina and from there to any Eternal City points of interest.
