Beach Haven is located on Anastasia Island, 10 minutes south of downtown St Augustine. It is perfect for a quiet beach get away or an active vacation! The in-ground heated pool provides privacy and safety for children and adults alike.
The neighborhood is quiet with a mixture of vacationers and year-round residents on a dead end street. The beach is a two-minute walk to our beautiful new wooden walkway that gives you breathtaking vistas of the dunes, beach and ocean, and peeks at the turtles, rabbits and other local four legged residents!
We welcome children and pets, but do charge a small pet fee. You will be minutes away from great restaurants, movie theatres, shopping, all types of water craft rentals, golfing, museums, art galleries and historic sites along the inter-coastal waterway and in downtown St Augustine.

- Private Pool : We have a beautiful private heated inground pool. We replaced the pool system in 2008 and the heater in 2009 for optimal performance. This is great fun for the kids after the beach, and a must for moms with napping little ones!

- Deck/Patio : We have a deck surrounding the pool and a large area that goes to the house. Partially covered by the overhanging balcony, it provides much desired shaded areas for eating and reading. There are chaise lounges, a table and lots of chairs for sunning/playing cards/eating/visiting!
- Balcony : Our balcony wraps around three sides of the home. From the front you can watch stunning sunsets to the west. From the back you have beautiful ocean views and overlook the inground pool and lush landscaping.
- Lanai : The back balcony off the second floor living area is roofed. You can enjoy lovely ocean views and breezes.

- Pet Friendly : We do allow well behaved pets! There is a pet fee of $200 for the first pet. Call me for more information. You do need to clean up after fido!
- Kid Friendly : Our beach house is perfect for families with children. There are two living areas, so the kids can watch their videos or listen to their music in a separate area from the kitchen/dining/living area. The pool is a must for moms with little ones that need naps. The downstairs bedrooms windows look out to the pool so moms can relax and be able to see the kids napping. The pool is also just a great break from the beach on hot days. It's clean and refreshing!
- Smoking Not Allowed : If you smoke, there are plenty of outside areas to do so. There are decks around three sides of the house, and the back yard has a large patio. NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE.

Why the Owner Chose St. Augustine
This neighborhood is so beautiful, many of the homes have year-round residents and we have made wonderful new friends. The ocean views are gorgeous, the beach is clean and wide and the water clean and clear. The pool is always the perfect temperature....There are fabulous restaurants within walking and/or biking distance and plenty of activities. Swimming, beach, biking, walking, surfing, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, shopping, dining....
The Unique Benefits at this House
Because the home has two living rooms, it's perfect for families. The kids can enjoy the huge couches downstairs and blast their videos and TV, and the adults can enjoy the deck, ocean views and Master Suite upstairs. The kitchen is so convenient with a long bar between the work area and the dining area, all open to the ocean vistas. The heated pool allows the kids to be entertained while the babies are napping and the moms can enjoy the shade or the sun too!

Jim and I wanted a beach home close to our friends and relatives in St Augustine, FL. We reside in Santa Barbara, CA and have always loved visiting the east coast, and Anastasia Island and Crescent Beach. Jim is an Electrical Contractor and I am a jewelry designer.

This was an outstanding rental property. My wife and I (and pet) stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a fabulous time. The pictures on the web site don't do justice to how nice of a home this is. A beautiful, quiet, fairly unoccupied beach is a 5-minute walk from the house, and the pool at the house is also very nice if you don't want to make the walk to the beach. We hope to stay there again someday and would definitely recommend it to others.
Recommended for:Pet owners, romantic getaway.

What a beautiful home!!! Got home late last night but wanted to be sure to write a review for this lovely home! There were five of us (2 last minute cancellations!) who had such a nice time in St. Augustine for a friend's sons wedding...the place was clean, beautiful and had all the amenities. The pool was sooo awesome - 82 degrees and a nice size - plenty of deck space and lounge chairs and regular chairs. The sunrise view from the deck was great - Also, Beach Properties and Management - great company - Cindy checked us in and was a great help - all in all a wonderful experience and if I ever plan on coming back to St. Augustine, this is where I want to stay!!! All of us just LOVED our "home away from home".... - from the Girls from Pittsburgh!!! ps - also, thanks to the owner, Mar, for the great suggestions for places to eat and for always answering any of my many questions in a timely fashion and with kindness!!! Thanks for loaning us your beautiful home!!!

Our stay at the Beach Haven was fabulous. The house was very clean and spacious. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable and relaxing, including things for the pool and beach. Being in a residencial area made walking to the beach quick and easy. Crescent Beach was clean and quiet, just a beautiful place to be. Thanks again, this is the first time I would consider going to the same place twice.
