Enjoy this beautiful, large, ocean view, one bedroom, two bath condo located in a quality landscaped complex within walking distance of Kailua Village and all its amenities...
The condo is air-conditioned, but shade from the palm trees and the overhead fans are also very comfortable. There is a large lanai which runs off both the living room and bedroom from which to watch the sunset or just to relax. When you are ready, the pool/entertainment area is the place to forget your worries. The pool is a full 20 strokes long and a good place to exercise as well as a great place for sunbathing. The barbeque and party area nearby are also available for your use.
Once you get back to the condo, enjoy the Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. Cook in at home in our full kitchen or avail yourself of the many high quality restaurants within a short distance. During the day, the activities are virtually unlimited. We have full snorkel gear and body boards for two available for your use upon request. For the more adventurous, there is charter fishing to the finest marlin grounds in the world, scuba diving, hang-gliding, nature walks, or much more. Tennis courts are available within a short walk, and some of the best golfing in the world is just a short drive away.
Day trips to see windswept South Point, the Volcano National Park, or Parker Ranch are also very convenient. Just ask and we will help make arrangements for whatever you are interested in.

Why the Owner Chose Kona Pacific
While working in Kona years ago, the company rented several units for our engineers and inspectors to stay in while working on a large project. I got to know the complex very well and fell in love with the atmosphere.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
My wife and I love to bring our children over from Hilo to Kona when possible to relax at the condo. We especially enjoy grilling fresh fish and steaks while watching our children swimming in the beautiful pool.

The apartment is well located. It is near the center of Kona and the sea The balcony is nice and quiet residence. The owner's apartment is nice too.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

The positive thing is location. However, there was no phone in the room as advertised, and the internet is unsecured making it difficult to book activities using an unsecured line, and having to use an overseas cellphone. In addition, you cannot watch DVDs and there is no one available to fix it - when I asked the manager to fix it, he would not come as he was 2 hours away, and we were asked to pay the service charge if someone were to come out. Also, our deposit was not returned as promised within 30 days of the rental. When I realised this, I emailed the owner to return our deposit, however he charged us double the rent because we stayed a mere 2hrs past the check out time, thus I received less than 1/2 of my deposit back.
Owner response:This was a problem tenant and only the second time that we have have ever had to retain even a potion of the security deposit. We received numerous phone calls within hours of their arrival complaining that they couldn't find the telephone (on the counter), couldn't connect to the internet (wireless connection or plug into the router), or use the TV remote (self-explanatory). They insisted that someone should come up immediately from the hotel lobbby to assist and we reminded them that it was not a hotel they were renting. I explained that i could call a handy-man to come help them, but if it was determined that there was nothing wrong with the equipment we would have to charge them a service fee. They declined and we never heard back from them again. When it came time for check out, they refused to leave when our cleaning people arrived although a new tenant was arriving in hours. We were obliged to pay our cleaners a nuisance fee and as a result we retained a portion of the security deposit in accordance with the signed agreement. It is unfortunate that this tenant was unhappy that we retained a portion of their deposit, but we believe they would be better advised to stay in a resort hotel next time instead of a vacation rental.

I spent 10 nights here on a business trip in August 2011. I have rented several condos in the Kona area over the past 12 years. This one is very spacious for a one bedroom unit, and it has 2 full bathrooms! Units directly on Alii Dr tend to be much smaller and more expensive and noisier. Furniture is very nice, and there are also 2 TV's, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I loved the huge balcony! Ocean view is a bit limited. This condo is conveniently located on the Kuakini Highway, which makes it very easy to get to anywhere in the Kona area quickly. It is also about a quarter mile from the Coconut Grove Marketplace, where there are many restaurants. The unit was very quiet- I rarely heard any activity from neighbors or the parking lots. The assigned parking spot in the parking garage is easy for an SUV to maneuver in and out of. There is lots of extra cusions and bedding in the closets- you could easy sleep about 6 people here. WiFi worked great- very important factor for me! It was even fast enough to stream movies. Overall, this was a very good value. This place is great for those who want to get away from the hoardes of tourists everywhere and have a quiet place to stay.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+.

We truly enjoyed our stay on the Kona coast. Hawaii is such a beautiful island. The view of the ocean from the lanai and pool area was an added bonus. The condo gave us the freedom to eat economically and convenience of doing laundry in our room was nice. Superb easy access location.
