Gorgeous fourth floor beachfront condominium at the Villas de Cortez.
The top floor/hall end location of this unit makes for spectacular views of miles of white sandy beaches and provides unrivaled privacy while still being right in the heart of the action.
From the balcony of either the bedroom or the living room you can watch the fishing fleet return to the dock or look down on the 2 infinity pools and swim up bar that are reserved for the exclusive use of the Villas de Cortez guests.
This unit has a unique feature in that the mirror image 1 bedroom condominium next door is accessible through an inside locking door that connects both units. Those looking for a 'double unit' can inquire about the availability of the second unit for larger groups.
The Villas de Cortez is without doubt the Los Barrile's areas finest resort setting, featuring elegant construction details and amenities. The unit itself is roughly 1200 sq ft and consists of 2 primary living spaces.
One is a master suite that has a king bed and TV and a private balcony that overlooks the beach and pools. The master suite also has a large bathroom with shower and tub. Both bathrooms in the villa are fully finished in marble.
The second living space is a living room area that adjoins the kitchen. The living room has its own balcony. The entertainment area in the living room has US satellite TV and includes US networks ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, CNBC, Fox and many more.
A DVD player is present. The appliances in the kitchen are Viking stove top, Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, GE dishwasher, and Bosch washer/dryer. The kitchen has granite counters. There is a second full bathroom in this living room/kitchen area.
There is a single roll away bed in the villa in addition to the double sofa bed in the living room..
The additional amenities of the adjoining Palmas de Cortez hotel are available to guests. The primary stores and restaurants in town are all within easy walking distance. There is a small 9 hole golf course available right next to the Villas

Completely forgot to write a review for this condo until someone asked me where to stay in Los Barriles. This is a nice new condo with upgrades through out. The view is perfect and so is the bed. You get the best of both worlds here as you can go to the main resort, use their pool and hang with the group or go back to the condos pool and have it all to yourself for the most part. Good pool bar service and the on site restaurant was good for lunch but did not try it for dinner. Lots of great places in town for dinner and we also had a cook (Norma) come in and make 2 dinners for us. Palmas de Cortez is a great place to fish out of and the on site BBQ was great for cooking our catch.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

From the minute we walked in the door, we couldn’t have been more pleased. The décor, well appointed kitchen and baths, extra linens, boogie boards and well thought of extras were welcomed perks, but it was the privacy, prime location of this quiet corner unit, double verandas and views that went on and on put it over the top! VALUE VALUE VALUE with first class amenities! Kim was a delight to coordinate with, made the reservation and check in process a breeze and was always available to answer even the most trivial of questions. The property staff could not be more accommodating. They are quick and happy to take you to town ($10 round trip – always on time) and daily housekeeping was great! We use VRBO regularly for our travels and this condo was tops! Thank you Kim for sharing your wonderful home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This was our 2nd stay at the Villas de Cortez. We rented the ajoining condo last time. The second time was as good as the first stay. The views of sunrises, sea, whales, birds, kiteboarders, etc. are just superb from these condos. We found the condo well appointed and comfortable. We'll be back....Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

What a beautiful condo! My husband kited right from the beach in front of the Villas while I watched from the balcony. Then I had a massage at the Spa. We had a wonderful week. Thanks. We'll be back next kiting season.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Gorgeous condo, everything brand new! Our first visit to Los Barriles, we're coming back. We walked over to the lobby of the Hotel Palmas de Cortez and booked a fishing cruiser for the following morning after we watched the flags come in. We caught a dorado & had it cooked at the restaurant downstairs. Wonderful week, thanks for sharing.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Very peaceful & quiet. Loved the sunrises. The fishing boats coming & going gave us hours of entertainment. Beautiful white, sandy beach.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
