Thank you for your gracious hospitality and wonderful home. Your house is marvelous as well as impeccably decorated and we never tired of the perfect view of the Tetons. The gift basket when we arrived was greatly appreciated and a nice touch. Our 3 year old granddaughter takes ballet and loves Angelina Ballerina, so your extensive set of children's books was ideal. Thanks again for a memorable week and for your warm hospitality!

For my first time in Jackson Hole and my first real mountain experience, I could not have stayed in a more gorgeous place with a more gorgeoous view! Waking up to the view was by far one of the best parts of the entire trip. It was amazing! Thank so much for everything. K Fowler Dallas, Texas

What a perfect place to have as a base for our days in the Tetons and Yellowstone. There was nothing better after an amazing day in nature to return to what the kids called "our own lodge". Waking up to that view was an inspirational start to each day. Thank you for sharing your home with us... Welch Family, Ct. (entered from guest book)

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house. This week has honestly been one of the best weeks of my life. Waking up in the morning an seeing thoe beautiful mountains and wide open sky, it's one of the best feelings I have ever experienced. Being able to sit by the pond and just think clearly...I loved it. Mackenzie (age 15) (from guest Book)

When I wake up at home, I look outside and see cars, roads, street lamps and houses. When I wake up here, I see a view I could never get tired of. This place is extraordinary. ...waking up seeing snow covered mountains, sunlight, bright blue sky, and all the beuatiful birds flying around and chirping. The scenery is just so breathtaking here. Your lodge is not simply a lodge. I loved how at home I felt. The decor was amazing. Thank you so much...I will never forget this place. Julie (age 14) Trumbull, CT (from Guest Book)

Pure joy! We had the best possible vacation. The house is beyond wonderful. Thank you so much for the picnic basket goodies, I am afraid the grandkids made quick work of that. The view is unforgettable and we had elk the last two days. We had a spectacular show of lightening one night. All in all a perfect 80th birthday. Thank you Peggy (submitted via email)

We just returned from an unbelievable week at Elk Ridge! We fell in love with the house when we walked in and the lights were on, music was on, a personal handwritten welcome note was waiting for us and everything was impeccably ready for our arrival. This house was better stocked than my own house...it has everything you could possibly imagine needing (especially in the kitchen). The layout proved to be perfect for our family...two full bedrooms, a gigantic master suite, and an outdoor deck that faces the Tetons straight-on (which I am still dreaming of). Before, during and after our stay, the owner made sure we had everything we needed, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to come enjoy the peace and serenity of Jackson Hole and the Tetons. BTW, if it seems expensive at first...check out the Snake River Inn @ $400/night (x 3 rooms for our family)...it comes out to be the same price that we paid for Elk Ridge, but we also had the advantage of having a full and beautiful kitchen, expansive family room, gorgeous decks (with phenomenal views as mentioned), our own private stocked trout pond, visiting elk in the mornings, bikes to ride, work-out equipment to use, full laundry, etc, etc, etc. Obviously, I can't say enough great things. We plan to return!!!

If you are interested in kicking back, there are plenty of 'toys' in this house and on this property to keep you happy. My husband is a fly-fisherman and enjoyed the pond. I watched him catch 7 fish in about 30 mins. Two of them were over 1.5 lbs. And yes, he did catch and release. We played pool, used the exercise equipment, listened to music, read books, took naps and slept so soundly. From the house there are great places to walk in the early morning or evening. The road surface is wide, the traffic slow and mindful of walkers and bikers. We only saw one person the entire week, and he was only across the way at another homesite. We made light breakfasts and lunches but went out to dinner. The kitchen is well stocked for something more intricate. At night we build a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Though it was still cold at night, we were as bad as two kids not wanting to give up and go inside for the night. And the stars --- incredible. The house has many good books and magazines, as well as an extensive library of children's books. Finally, we were both so surprised that when our last night came we were feeling ready to go back to our home, pick up where we left off, feeling that the break was an excellent refocus on where we've been and are going next.
Owner response:We are so happy to share this luxury vacation spot with others to enjoy a wonderful piece of Jackson. We are pleased that all our efforts to provide a full five star experience has been so well received. We are now in our second summer and have sold out the entire season!
