Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel your reservation with Kiahuna #143 and you cancel outside of the 15 days before your Check In, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel within 15 days prior to your Check In, your Deposit will be refunded minus 15% of the total value of your stay. In other words there is a 15% cancellation fee on the entire balance if you cancel within 15 days of your Check In.

We had a perfect stay in this condo and can't wait to return! It was just the right size for a small family and walking distance to the beach and a lovely pool. The condo was very clean and well furnished. We appreciated the barbeques located outside the unit, as well as the restaurants located a short walk away.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed your very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-outfitted condo. The luxurious landscaping, peaceful surroundings, and wonderful beach really spoke to the comforting beauty of Kauai. We'll be back!

The property met our expectations. It was very adequate and if we were staying at Kiahuna again, would definitely consider staying here. While a minor item, would be nice if salt and pepper shakers were included. Also, the TV and internet connection area could be relocated to make it possible to watch TV while working in the kitchen (a Wi-Fi connection would be preferable to the cable). The towel service option was a nice feature since there is not laundry facilities in the unit.

We all love nice Salt & Pepper Shakers, but in a Guest-Use situation housekeeping will not allow open Salt & Pepper Shakers, therefore small packets are provided for your convenience. We stayed here in mid-Sept, 2010 and definitely recommend it! It is quiet, secure, private, and well-situated on lovely grounds, close to the beach and parking. The kitchen was well-outfitted with all we needed to eat-in, there were plenty of bath supplies, and the bed was very comfortable. We used the safe every day while we snorkeled the beaches of Kauai! There were 2 minor inconveniences: it gets hot in the unit late in the day (we used the fans constantly and it cools down overnight) and the lanai door got off-track frequently (we lived with it). The property is very convenient to restaurants, shopping, and island attractions. Patricia Blick was a breeze to work with from our initial inquiry through the entire stay. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was a positive one. Mahola!
Owner response: A Note from The Blicks - Owners - October 2010 Any time you are staying at a high-end Vacation Rental Property, always call "Maintenance" (push the Maintenance button on the Unit Phone) if anything is not in proper working order. The Maintenance & Housekeeping Departments are the very best and usually respond within minutes. These Vacation Rentals are completely cleaned and checked weekly for everything and from time to time things may get out of order during your stay, or something out of the Kitchen may get broken, etc., and you should always feel free to contact these departments for assistance. We're back from our beautiful vacation and the accommodations were terrific. Your unit (#143) was as good as it gets. Thank you for providing a huge part of our adventure. Boat ride up the Na'pali coast, horseback riding at the North Shore (Silver Falls Ranch) and zip-lining over the forest canopies were "over the top" for us old folks (we're both over 60..and a few months). Kiahuna 143 was perfect! Well equipped, quiet, good location - we found it the perfect place for our family during our stay in Kaua'i and we would definitely stay there again! The Plantation is wonderful, the grounds are well kept and gorgeous and the beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. This is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a relaxed, quiet experience as opposed to a crowded hotel. The staff is helpful, the pool is lovely and the restaurant is incredible!
