Year Purchased: 1985
In my mind, the Berkshires have always been one of the most beautiful places. My children went to camp and then to boarding school there so I naturally bought a home to be close to them and enjoy the beauty and culture of the area. Now that they are grown, and I am single again, I find that I have other summer adventures to experience and therefore the house is for rent this summer. I have furnished and decorated the home for myself, not for rental purposes. It is really nice!
The Unique Benefits of this House
My property is in a beautiful location and very private, though it is walking distance to Lenox. Being in the center of things allows one to enjoy Tanglewood, Berkshire Theater, Lenox Restaurants, Lenox Health Club and all the wonderful restaurants within minutes from the house. Also it is a short distance from major highways and makes weekend trips to other parts of New England and New York very accessible.
