Some places are so good you hesitate to write a review because then it'll be full the next time you want to rent it! This is one of those places. It's a beautiful oasis -- the landscaping with the pond, the abode style house, wrap around deck, etc. etc. We spent one week here in May and hope to come back for a much longer stay. We spent many meals sitting on the wraparound deck watching the hummingbirds and other birds. The house is situated so that you are surrounded by nature. Highly recommend.Owner response: Thanks Karin, I just really am grateful for your wounderful review. Hope I get to see you next year. Marilynn

My visit was perfect!! I actually extended my stay because I couldn't bring myself to leave when scheduled. The property, furnishings and amenities were exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Comfort and southwestern ambience abounds. Love the wrap-around porch with its outdoor furniture - there is always a sunny spot there on a cool morning. The wood-burning fireplace makes a great contemplation point and the jacuzzi tub was a welcome warm-up after a cold day of snoe-showing on Grand Mesa. The property was secluded with a nice sense of privacy, yet it is just a short drive in to Montrose and the many activities beyond. The owner was very responsive to my requests. I definitely recommend this treasure - I already miss it - and can't wait to stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Staying at your home has always been like your little gift to us. We are so comfortable and cozy and crazy about the wild life we were able to watch from any one of the porches. We live in the sunshine state and long to be back at your place, go figure. We love it and look forward to getting back again real soon. You know they say three times is a charm. Can't wait to be charmed. "The Strengths"Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
