Located right in front of the surf break at Playa Colorado, this Villa Rio Dulce third floor 3 bedroom 2 bath condo has a great view of the surf, river and putting green. Sitting on the balcony or looking out the windows at tree top level you can enjoy close up views of howler monkeys, exotic birds and other wildlife.
Walk out to the beach and catch some great waves or take a swim in the beach front pool. Grab a cool drink, sit under the palapa and watch the surfers or a beautiful sunset. The palapa has bathrooms, an outdoor shower and a Snack Bar. Take a walk on our mile long sandy beach and look for shells or maybe watch a turtle come ashore and lay her eggs. We have two good surf breaks, Colorados in front of the condo and Panga Drops a half mile down the beach with off shore winds most of the time. Golfers can practice on the putting green right out front or take advantage of our discounted green fees for the challenging nine hole golf course.
Back at the condo, you will find everything you need to cook your meals in the modern kitchen or barbecue on the gas grill out on the balcony. You will want to stop for groceries on your way from the airport, Tola has the Maxi Pali that stocks most everything you will need. It is about 45 mins. from the condo. The trip is approx 2 1/2 hrs. drive from Managua. Fresh fish and lobster are available by walking or driving to nearby Playa Gigante or buy from the guy that comes into Hacienda Iguana with fish. We also have a bar and restaurant on site. It's a good place to relax and watch sporting events.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed with ocean view, private bath and walk in closet. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and a third with two twins. All rooms have separate AC units and ceiling fans so you can leave the windows open and let the sound of the waves put you to sleep.
The living room has a flat screen TV with DVD player and stereo for CDs or iPod. You can relax out on the shaded balcony and watch the waves, read a book or just enjoy the sights and sounds of the wildlife. One of our favorites times is early evening as the sun sets looking through the silhouette of the tree tops at the beautiful colors in the sky.
